Maine Caucus Results (Thus Far)

Sitting here waiting for the Portland caucus to begin. From first impressions its a very heavy Paul and Romney presence. Id be surprised if the others received more than a handful of votes. My initial guess is that the Romney crowd outnumbers us by a bit. A slightly older crowd than I would have thought.

Will you be sticking around for the results?

So how the hell is Maine going?

Awesome, good, nice, so so, not good, bad, catastrophic? Can somebody tell me?

So we can have a 15+ page thread about state election results, but we can post a link about it? What the fuck is this shit?

Wow, I don't see much of our support there. Not good.

Not long ago someone was speaking for either Romney or Santorum, couldn't tell which (lol), but he started talking like a neocon about impending war in Iran/Middle East and he got collectively booed by the audience. During a pause in his speech, someone from the crowd shouted "Ron Paul" and they collectively cheered. Another speaker was speaking in Ron Paul's language about small government and auditing the Fed afterward, and he got collectively cheered.

If the OP really wants to post the original link it might not matter as much now. We had been asked by the campaign not to post detailed information because the GOP wanted to announce it, and (in case of our internal data) because it gave others too much information, but honestly, the way they are creating last minute caucuses on virtually no notice to skew things towards Romney makes me wonder how considerate we should be. My own issue was not wanting our folks to be complacent because the big events that will dwarf early results, are today. I didn't want people thinking they weren't needed. EVERY vote is needed.

Excuse my ignorance, I haven't been paying attention, but aren't there supposed to be some live results up by now? Or are they not doing it for Maine?
