Magna Carta

Okay it is a famous document on liberty. I just saw a movie based on the creation of this document called "To Kill A King", it was really good. I have to be honest, I knew nothing of this history of this document prior to the movie, I had heard of it, but vaguely. I am sure this document helped the Irish under the Rule of England for the Irish were "subjects" or "commoners". So I thought I would share it for the Irish on St. Patty's day. I should have not miscommunicated and posted why I was sharing it. Sorry....No ill intended. Does this clear it up?

Normally you should when posting off-topic material on the "News on the official campaign" section of the forums.
I'd be glad to discuss it if it were in the right place. I say this because people ask for others to be hushed, and banned all the time. But we can't even post in the right areas?

If the Constitution is the foundation of this nation, the Magna Carta is the flagstone beneath that foundation.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, indeed.
