Machine vs Hand - New stats table

The large towns are where the Diebold Machines are located........

maybe, but it's most probable they're tied for Paul, once again meaning that the first results might be more telling for us than any other candidate (except for places w/ a couple votes like Dixville Notch).

Acmegeek,

What percentage of the small, medium, and large town votes come from the easily hackable Diebold voting machines?

Thank you,
Right

The charts are very interesting.

Obama's camp should take a look a what should have been.

I will be adding some more to the stats table tonight, the percent based on small/medium/large, etc.

Thanks for the support! Today has been a crazy day with this site.

I just posted this to a local forum in MN as well, but here's the scoop guys..

I have a sister living in New Hampshire. She told me that there were little to no RP signs, radio ads, TV ads, or any other sign of support for RP in her area. Very few people near her have even heard of Ron Paul. Other candidates had campaigned in the "bigger" town near hers, but not RP, or anyone speaking for RP. Hence, there are MUCH lower percentage numbers for RP in her area than some others. Hand counted or not. I think it just boiled down to getting the message out, and we failed to do it.

So please spend time getting the message out in the states yet to come, it's probably time better spent.

Sure you do but you did not even bother to mention where in NH she lives. I smell bullshit. ;)

+1. before jumping into any conclusion we need to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges first.

It's exactly the same on the Democratic side:

Edwards, Gravel, Kucinich, Obama, Richardson = 14,575
Clinton, Other = 14,574

Does this really prove anything?

No. The votes add up to 100% so they have to come from somewhere.

Can someone put the hand count towns on a map so we can see exactly where they are located?

I'd also be curious about the machine count towns.

We need to consolidate the work being done in this thread with
the work that WeBeGood is doing at this thread.

We need to see if any consistent patterns develop when
this work is combined and updated with the most current
results.

Here's what I've figured out about recount so far:

DEADLINE FOR FILING FOR A RECOUNT: FIVE O'CLOCK TOMORROW, FRIDAY, JAN 11, 2008

THE COST WILL DEPEND ON THE CANDIDATE FILING.

IT WILL COST MORE IF THE CANDIDATE GOT LESS VOTES

THEY WILL KNOW THE COST FOR EVERY CANDIDATE BY CANDIDATE LATER TODAY

IF A RECOUNT IS REQUESTED THEY WILL RECOUNT ALL THE VOTES FOR ALL CANDIDATES IN THAT PARTY

What I think we really need is a recount of both parties. What if votes are being siphoned off both sides electronically? That means a candidate from each party has to request it. Any candidate on the ballot can request it, but the less votes you got, the more it will cost. Call Kucinich or Mike Gravel for democratic side recount.
