I tend to agree with this. It's one thing to be controversial and talk about the savior, but to endorse an old white Republican would be the end of his career. This guy is small potatoes compared to what the Dixie Chicks were and we saw what happened to them almost overnight. This dude isn't dumb, so I wouldn't hold my breathe if I were y'all.

Lets assume just for the sake of argument, that WASALU MUHAMMAD JACO ("Lupe Fiasco") is a Ron Paul supporter and would be willing to say so openly (highly unlikely, but what the Hell, lets play with it).

1. How many people do you think he's going to bring to the REPUBLICAN primary? You think a lot of the people who listen to this guy are going to think "Lupe says Ron Paul is the mutha' f*ckin' man, so I'm going to vote for the old white guy in the Republican primary so he can take Obama down!"

2. How many potential Republican voters would be DRIVEN AWAY from Ron Paul by an "endorsement" from a guy like this? Can you imagine the fun that clowns like O'Reilly and Hannity would have with that "endorsement?"

Add up the two numbers, and I think an endorsement from "Lupe Fiasco," unlikely as it is, would bring in a net of about ZERO voters for Ron Paul in the Republican primary.

So if Lupe decides to get off his ass and actually vote for RP, fine, but his endorsement would be useless, and perhaps even hurtful to the campaign.

We don't need to spend a lot of time courting this guy's endorsement.

If she was an American, her endorsement would probably be better than Fiasco's- lots of Republicans watch porn (though they rarely admit it), but there not a lot of Republicans showing up at Lupe Fiasco concerts.

Word is that he has a Ron Paul supporter in his backing band for his live shows, so he's likely influenced him somewhat. Lupe came out with an *EXCELLENT* mixtape entitled "Enemy of the State" just before his last EP "Lasers" in which the "A" resembles the anarchist symbol. So, I think he shares some things in common with us.

Lupe has already distanced himself from Obama. He kinda endorsed Hillary in 2008. (Yeah she stinks too). Lately he's gone so far to call Obama a terrorist.
