Dear Lone Star Times,

I am writing in respose to your article on Thursday, October 25, 2007: "LST: Neo-Nazi leader gives Ron Paul $500".

http://lonestartimes.com/2007/10/25/rpb1/

I'm a Ron Paul supporter, along with many others, because I believe he'll defend my Constitutional rights. And the rights of those I disagree with. The rights of all Americans. He defend our right to choose our own beliefs. The right to peacefully express those beliefs. The right to disagree with popular opinion. People don't need to agree with Paul's views to support him. Whether Paul agrees with us or not, I have no doubt he'll defend our Freedom of Concience, Speech, Press, Assembly, and Security from Unreasonable Search and Seizures equally for all Americans.

If Paul is given money to spend on his Presidential campaign, for him to spend it in any other way besides returning it, would be theft and a violation of the contributor's rights. No matter how much I might disagree with Don Black's views, I see nothing wrong with Paul taking his money equally with mine, and if elected defending Mr. Black's rights equally with mine.

Thank you for the article, but I disagree with your opinions.

A Ron Paul for President in 2008 supporter.

i have a feeling this was set up. i will know for a fact if the media comes out swinging soon.

Let 'em have at it. It's a ridiculous assertion, and I have every reason to believe that Dr. Paul will not be outwitted on this issue...if anything, I would expect him to spin it as "...well that's interesting, because by supporting my campaign, they are weakening their own position with regard to racism, so yes, I will gladly take their money and try to eliminate this ugly form of collectivism known as racism."

They're gonna hafta get up a little bit earlier to pull one over on RP, IMO.

When you get right down to it, these MSM talking pie-holes just really aren't that bright.

Wow!
Ron Paul is so convincing that he converts even nazis to support rule of law and libertarianism! He should be nominated to the Nobel peace prize for this.

Its called open elections, It is to our benefit to know who gives our politicians money.

Not quite. I'm against id cards and social security cards, so it would be futile to keep track of citizenry without these things. And how does fec verify anyway? Someone can just make up info

How can we oppose these things and still keep track of who donates to whom? And I'm entirely opposed to donation limits.

Really?
So, how do you benefit from knowing that this nazi guy has donated $500 to Ron Paul?

Yes, that's what I was thinking. You can't have an elected government without having to keep track of everyone?

torchbearer:

You support the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act?

I'm against donation limits too, but a public servant is open to the public... you as a private citizen has privacy, a public official does not, you donate to a public servant, it is to the countries benefit that everyone knows where the servant got his money from...

Bush got the endorsements and support from Black and David Duke back in 2000.

The outrage is kind of selective, it seems. Having Nazi endorsements is fine if you're a chosen Establishment tool.

Need some help

I have been tracking this, lately.

Just before the debate in Florida, several blogs had posts stating that they were declaring "war" on Ron Paul and his supporters. This is the chronology that has happened since:

1. A well known "Freeper" gets into the Fox News "Focus group" and decalres on national TV that he thinks Ron Paul is "certifiable insanse." He then brags about it on freerepublic. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1914464/posts

The man's name is Douglass Maher. Mr. Maher was at the Pro-Bush 2000 rally, the same one that Don Black from Stormfront was present at. Mr. Maher also lives in West Palm Beach, which is the same county as Don Black listed in the donation.

http://www.eddriscoll.com/archives/cat_all_you_need_is_ears.php

Here you can see several of the involved people talked about and listed. The usual suspects; little green footballs, pajama's media, Hotair.com, National Review, etc.. etc.., we have Charles Johnson (little green footballs), Don Black (stormfront), Douglas Maher and several others involved in this all listed as if in a "network" of influential people.

2. Hotair.com supposedly had a reporter show up at the Facism Awareness something or another and talked to Adam Kokesh, and we discover he is a Ron Paul supporter. The trouble is this event is supposedly THIS:
http://www.rushlimbaughforum.com/presidential-election-f13/who-hates-america-ron-paul-does-t222.html
Which is supposed to take place November 31st. You would be excused if you didn't notice that there is no November 31st on your calendar. So, the event that Adam Kokesh was filmed at isn't even a real event.

3. Supposedly Young American's for Freedom held an event that included a speech from some racist from the British Nationalist Party. And Little Green Footballs reports on it. They also note that YAF are Ron Paul supporters. Hmm, when I thought Young Americans for Freedom sounded familiar and it wasn't a pro-Ron Paul memory. This is it: http://patdollard.com/2007/10/22/ron-paul-gets-booed/ these people are HARDLY pro-Ron Paul.

And finally, this "event" was also supposedly part of the event above that doesn't exist.

4. Supposedly people have been getting random unsolicited spam for Ron Paul. The trouble is that none of the 700+ members in my state have ever gotten one of these supposed emails, even though we are on several mailing lists and our emails and names are all over the web in Ron Paul circles. No, these emails seem to end up only in the in-boxes of people opposed to Ron Paul and the media. The emails also, oddly, know the recipients' names... Now, I wonder how THAT could be? Perhaps places they had signed up, say Free Republic, Little Green Footballs, and hotair.com? They would then have their names and a nice list of people that dislike Ron Paul and would start complaigning about it.

5. Allegations of "Denial of Service" attacks which BTW is a felony if you are caught. You would think that the sites making this claim would provide us with evidence since it is such a serious crime, right? Nope.

6. Spamming message boards with insane crap. Redstate.com has been caught changing the posts of pro-Ron Paul commentors to incoherent babble, then banning the person's IP address so that they cannot defend themselves and it looks like they just popped in only to drop some spam and leave. They did this to me, I got around it and posted to tell people what happened, then they did it again, and finally figured out how to ban me for good. All the while challenging me and pretending like they were waiting for a response from me (I couldn't even load the site anymore, had to see it on a different computer.)

There are plenty more. This whole thing is an organized campaign of smear. But, I need some help connecting the dots. If we can gather enough evidence, we could probably press charges. It is obvious some crimes were committed here, not to mention libel and defamation of character. They have declared war on us and it looks like they have a fairly influential network of people in on this. They obviously run in tight circles.

Hmm... I wonder if we could use the patriot act against them. I mean after all they are working together in splinter cells with unlawful activity in an attempt to influence politics and policy. Isn't this the definition of a terrorist?

So, anybody have some good PI, internet security, intelligence, etc.. skills to help us get to the bottom of this?

I belong tp all those sites wuth the exception of hotair, and have not received any spam.

Citation?

That's a documentary film-maker who made a movie called Young Americans. It is not Young Americans for Freedom.

The spam is real. I have friends who have gotten this spam. Plenty of spam "knows the recipient's name."

Hmm... I wonder if we could use the patriot act against them. I mean after all they are working together in splinter cells with unlawful activity in an attempt to influence politics and policy. Isn't this the definition of a terrorist?
Ridiculous.

I'm not sure on this one with campaign limits it stops the many rich from literally drowning the other candidates with money. Heck Bill Gates could donate an easy billion and that is only one. This way if people aren't apathetic we can raise a lot of money. 10million x $100=1billion

Those were my thoughts!

Remember, if we respond to this article AT ALL it should be positive.

They are just saying this stuff to get our attention and increase their advertising money.... another I-G-N-O-R-E
