Louisiana Ron Paul delegates lose appeal [mod: FIRST appeal]

How can you work within such a corrupted party? The lawsuit is our only hope now it appears. I hope Ron says something about this.

The more you force the corruption to demonstrate itself, the more ability you have to win support amongst the general population of caucusgoers. You would be surprised at how much pleasantly (but not ignorantly) withstanding party corruption will draw support from 'ordinary' Republican caucusgoers.

The key is to make it obvious who the bad guy is and move on.

Over a couple years of this, whole bodies will start to gravitate heavily.

Right now, NCTea is in an uproar, and the swath of regular caucusgoers are joining them. The message I am pumping in is "Obey the Constitution, the Whole Constitution" and the same message is coming back out. 10th Amendment has been popular w GOP caucusgoers for at least a decade.

A massive wave is building offshore and coming in, it's just a matter of surfing it.

How can they claim they followed the rules? Is there any unbiased mediator in these proceedings?

If not seating the delegates would be a bigger media negative than seating them, particularly with that values voter group now trying to oust Romney, which might appeal to the non Paul delegates trying to take the place of ours, I think ours will be seated. But we have to put the pressure on through getting the story out so it is a scandal if they don't seat the delegates. They have to know they'll be seeing those videos forever, if they cheat our guys that badly.

maybe we should find the forums that these guys are active in and try contact their group, eg I'm talking the Palin types, etc and actually show the supporters these videos, they might not be followers but show them what Romney has been upto.

I know this is painful, but here is the link http://www.facebook.com/sarahpalin ignore the praise for Paul Ryan and facebook the links to the broken bones. I would facebook, but I don't have an account (I'm anti-facebook)

Of course. The fix is in. The fix has always been in. Ron Paul did a massive amount of good durng this campaign in educating people about the real issues, from war to the police state, from the Fed to fascism. But there was never any chance that the Republican party, a State-corporatist alliance, would give Ron a chance, no matter how well he did. None. Nada. Zip. This is, btw, another medal on Ron's chest, and further testimony, as if we needed it, that he is the authentic champion of liberty, and therefore like a crucifix held before the Vampublicans.

Wait. Seriously? How can they do this with a straight-face? Ron had won nearly 75% of the delegates going to that convention! This is laughable! Can we send this to Rachel Maddow and Jon Stewart and get this over with? If the GOP wants to make war with itself then that's their call, this is is just plain stupid.

No matter what the outcome, these same delegates need to show up at their next state convention and purge the corrupt bastards to the curb. We've seen in more than just a few states where the leadership goes against the will of the dually elected delegates, so more than just becoming delegates we need to be in charge.

Glad to see Ron's friend making excuses for an absolutely horrendous campaign. "Educating" people? Really? How many states did he win the popular vote in with more money spent than Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich?
I didn't realize people donated money to "educate" voters by using your campaign website to defend an endorsement of Mitt Romney. The only education people should have learned is, politics is about money. Ron Paul has made a nice chunk of change being a Congressman.

Again, another RP insider glazing over $50+ million wasted on "educating" people, when more people could probably tell you what 999 is, than Ron Paul's plan to balance the budget.

So what leaderships positions do we need in general for the future in that state to prevent this stuff?

You've GOT to be kidding. Santorum, Cain, and Gingrich had the media singing their praises non-stop. The only time they mentioned Ron was to lie about him. How can you have forgotten that?

Probably all of them. :D

I don't know really, but it doesn't appear they are going to just let us have leadership positions anymore, and if they do, they will just pay people to vote our guys out, or make bogus charges against our guys, have them arrested, whatever, they don't let rules and laws stop them from achieving their objectives.

All this stuff accomplishes is making me want to take over the internal party structure even more. That or intentionally try to burn the party down. Not sure which. Maybe both?

If you are saying that the media was Ron Paul's only problem, it wasn't. Sure, it was part of his problem....but Ron Paul and/or his campaign turned down invites to the biggest cable "news" show at night. You can't complain about lack of media coverage (which was true), but then turn down invites just because you don't like the host. See how much good RP's friendly CNN station did him in Iowa with that Gloria hit piece? Exactly.

Perhaps you missed the YouTube videos I did showing Mike Huckabee lying about Ron Paul? Rick Santorum? Dick Morris? Bill O'Reilly? And the media in general? Just ask YouTube to put all the videos back, and you can see them.

You seem to be missing the bigger picture here of Ron's real position. He's been running for potus for decades off and on; he knows damn well that behind the scenes, out of view of the media, there are only two political parties; Tyranny (the one in power) and Liberty. (The one that hasn't had many candidates win since the 1800's.)

The Tyranny party controls all US and likely world politics, like you would imagine, with an iron fist. When they see a real, true liberty candidate run for one of their important posts, like the potus post, they simply tell him no. "Ron, you can't have that. If you were to win, We'll Kennedy you and Rand both by the end of your first day in office."

So Ron had to agree that he'd only run "for educational purposes." -Meaning he will not step on their chosen guy's toes (ex: Being polite to R$) nor try as hard as he could to win. (Ex: Jesse Benton screwups, cancel his campaign appearances, not show up at Paulfest, Not hire lawyers himself, not speak at the RNC, and not even use all his donated funds on the campaign!)

Ron is truly passionate about the Liberty party winning one day. He is. But he knows that if he runs his hardest and wins, he's going to kill himself and Rand both, and likely start a freaking bloody r3volution too. Who wants all that blood on their hands? It's simply not time for that yet.

So get with the game and realize that Ron has NEVER been running to win. Only to educate. He would NOT allow himself to win in fact. He's only running to build us up for a future in which our children could one day win. Or our grandchildren.

We Paulites are the ones trying to force him to be the president, because we're greedy and selfish... But the powers that be have been in control of this country since 1913 and nothing we can do in 2012 is going to make the liberty party win this year. Nothing at all.

There isn't much we can do about the campaign at this point and there are no refunds when it comes to donations. You part with your money for better or worse. Let the Pauls have their rally and do whatever they want. All we can do is fight for what we came to do and that's nominate Ron Paul and they try to take that away then they will have hell to pay in their precious little convention.

Disruption? Hell, I call it democracy.
