Exactly, which is why some of us have been saying if RP's campaign would clear up the "national defense" issue, with clear talking points, this would have been over long ago.
RP needs to win the REPUBLICAN nomination, before he wins the general. RP has been under steady attack, and much moreso for the last 2 straight weeks, and his campaign has done hardly anything to combat it.
Rick Santorum was rising, and being talked about positively, and apparently the campaign was still running ads on Gingrich who was already tanking. It seems the campaign is running a very "reactionary" strategy, instead of being PRO-active.
