There are some VERY suspiscious facts regarding the Secretary of Defense's frame job.
I don't believe for A SECOND that Blinken and Biden didn't know what was going on.
It looks to me like the Israelis want Austin replaced, and Blinken got the ball rolling in that direction.
Austin's abrupt and unscheduled visit to the USS Gerald Ford group which was situated off the Israeli coast for assistance against Hezbollah was suddenly brought back home after the Israeli visit.
Consider:
12/18 Lloyd Austin discusses Gaza in Israel with top Israeli officials. Austin says to avoid a regional war, Israel should tamp down on Gaza operations. Austin's vision of the future for Gaza is at odds with Israeli officials.
12/19 Austin flies from Israel to USS Gerald Ford
12/20 Official date of Austin's "unannounced" visit to USS Gerald Ford Strike Group, then off the coast of Israel
12/22: Austin goes to Reed for a procedure.
Interim: USS's Gerald Ford, Thomas Hudner, Normandy, and McFaul all leave Israeli coast, back to the US.
1/1: Austin admitted for severe pain, goes into intensive care unit.
1/2: Kathleen Hicks assumes some of his duties (she doesn't do anything important)
1/2 Charles Brown, Chief of Staff, supposedly first learns of this.
1/6: Biden talks to Austin and expresses confidence in him
1/7: Anthony Blinken tells press he "wasn't aware" of Austin's medical issue (YEAH, RIGHT!!!) Start Shit Storm.
1/7: Kathleen Hicks, principal deputy under secretary of defense for policy during the Obama administration, and current #2 at the Pentagon, supposedly tells CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand that she was not told why she would be taking over Austin's duties (in other words, she either RATTED or FABRICATED), and Bertrand posts this on X, causing a big stir. CNN's Oren Liebermann, Haley Britzky and Kevin Liptak all contribute to stirring the pot. GOP hawks stir pot.
1/8: Another ex-Obama official, this time the shady Brett Bruen, Obama's "Director of Global Engagement", tells USA Today: “This is not a minor miscommunication. It’s about the confidence that our national security structure has in its leadership and that the leadership is acting in a transparent way.” - Bruen is a critic of Jacke Sullivan, who supposedly did not tell Biden until after the 1/4 DoD statement, but we have no confirmation of this exactly
1/8 (today) increasing calls in the media for Biden to replace Austin (and potentially Sullivan)
