Exit polls and comments made by Thompson suggest he's out after SC.

In my dream scenario, McCain loses badly tonight in SC, loses in FL, and fizzles out on Super Tuesday. He doesn't even have money to run ads for Feb 5th.

If Rudy loses FL, he will also be deflated and might get slaughtered on Feb 5.

This would leave only Mitt, Huckleberry Hound, Rudy and RP. :)

Huck could also be damaged if he does not do well in SC and FL.

We might actually get some of the Fred vote, since he has marketed himself as the "constitutional conservative".

Of course, in the end I think his vote will be split among all of the candidates.

Maybe the NYT can finally put Ron on their election guide!? Doubt it. It looks even more ridiculous that they don't have him on there now.

Paul and Thompson agree on quite a few things ... except Foreign Policy. We would get some of the Thompson vote, unquestionably.

If it becomes a scenario where there is not clear cut winner on the republican side. There could be several republicans going to the presidential campaign. This means that Ron Paul concievably could make it to the very end (November 08), which would give us more time to campaign for Ron Paul.

It's possible folks! We still have a chance, but we need to push and push hard!

I can see Ron Paul picking up a lot of support from Fred, and Duncan Hunter if he ever gets out, regardless of who they endorse on their exit.

Agreed. Then again, maybe we could pick up a lot of those anti-war McCain voters.

I think this will come down to Romney vs. Paul.
