My local paper (that covers the entire Hudson Valley Region in New York) has excluded Ron Paul from an upcoming feature, as well as their article online.

http://www.recordonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080127/NEWS/801270308/-1/NEWS10

He is the ONLY candidate they've excluded.

If you have a spare minute to drop them a line, please do so. My local MUG is currently organizing a demonstration for later today or tomorrow outside their office, but in the meantime, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't have time but I guess they are so lazy they need somebody to write up Ron Paul's positions for them. How bout somebody add that to the comments.

end the war and cut oversees spending. Use that money to pay social security to the elderly and let the young people out. Cut the dept. of education (which every teacher would agree with and who would know more?) and other pointless "i need to employ my stupid cousin, how can i do it?" departments and use that money for better things like welfare.

Good afternoon,
This is Chris Mele, southern Orange County regional editor from the Times Herald-Record, responding to your e-mail about the Sunday Record presentation on the presidential candidates' positions.
The decision to exclude Ron Paul was based on a number of factors: time, resources, space, his standing in the polls and the fact that we made a similar decision about Dennis Kucinich (who at the time we put this story to bed was still running, and remains on the NY ballot nonetheless.) Further, on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, we carried a story about Hudson Valley supporters of Paul's, their meet-ups, etc.
Ideally, would it be great to be able to account for every last candidate running on the ballot in New York (all 11 of them)? Sure, but practicalities often trump idealism.
Thanks for writing,

Yeah, every reason EXCEPT finishes in REAL things like Primaries and Caucuses.
