True, but in that clip she kinda came across as being serious, iyam. As far as I know, she has not apologized or retracted that statement. (but to her, there's nothing wrong with being gay or transgender, so... it wasn't meant as an insult.)

Well Joan Rivers was being perfectly honest; and yes I believe all of Hollywood knows Obama is gay and Michelle is a transvestite . Many people (no longer living) who knew Obama on an intimate basis gave their stories during his first Presidential run. Hollywood loves this story. My daughter is in theater and needless to say the acting community is well endowed with gays. One of Obama's first executive orders was to legalize same sex marriage after he campaigned against it. Obama is a hero for pulling this off, with Michael (aka Michelle). Now Obama's next action, is to become a hero and turn the U.S. into Central America; take your homes and your retirement, your social security at age 65 to support as many Central American inhabitants as he can find.

Obama has two more years, and each day will be used to destroy America as we once knew it.

I don't think anyone here who is a good way away from retirement actually expects SS to be there when they retire. It's already bankrupt. I'm betting safely and planning on working as long as humanly possible and retiring on my own private assets.

I don't think insult "comedy" really qualifies as comedy. And the new generation - Dennis Miller, Lewis Black etc. - aren't any better. But they curse more freely so they are "edgy".

Yes, they were very controversial claims.

In case anyone didn't hear, Joan Rivers is currently being taken out of a medically induced coma and reportedly, they aren't sure yet if she is going to be a vegetable or confined to a wheelchair, or if she will even survive.

I can see that some people here hated her, but I for one am sad about this.
