I hope I explained why I cannot vote for him in the primary (he promised to quit on me). I prefer that my congressional representation be committed to representing me, rather than quitting in a hissy fit over a single issue.
You don't quit the war because you lose one battle. If they had that attitude during the revolution, we'd all still be spelling color with a "U".
The way I see it, Ron Paul's approach DID work. Look at what his approach spawned. You're posting on it now. People who never would've gotten behind his message otherwise, were receptive to it because of his demeanor. They respected him because he represented honesty, principle and most importantly: professionalism.
Nonetheless, if you DO run a negative campaign you have to run it right. Look at how Hillary does it: she'll smile and complement Obama on stage at a debate, and "leak" the negatives later on. You can't go out there like a pit-bull non-stop.
Sabrin has built a bad reputation for himself in the NJ GOP. There is no way he can get the nomination, and frankly, I don't want him to.
There is still time left though, if someone who is from NJ wants to get in the race. I will fully back a Ron Paul republican who promises to run a clean campaign, and I will do everything I can to aid them.
