Calling what we get back from our education expenditures "dog food" is an insult to dog food, exchange the "food" part of it to excrement and you'll be closer to a good analogy.

Trump on trade is... omg. Guys, he is doing a lot of damage with this anti-free trade nonsense. I wish I could make him read the Candlemaker's Petition. Sad to hear all these crowd cheering for taxes that will be shouldered by... them! Too bad Trump is not advocating a more business friendly environment (read: less tax/regulation), which is the real solution.

actually Trump is spot on with so called Free Trade. It has ruined our country, you can't even buy apple juice made in the USA anymore.
people who are free-traders are globalists, anti-nation state scum, could careless about the United States. You don't have to read anything, the proof is in the pudding, free trade has sucked the United States dry, and now that China has cornered the market and put the competition out of business they are increasing their prices on all sorts of products.
its not taxes, they are tariffs, and when tariffs get high enough a domestic option will arise with no tariffs. How do you think China does it--- with tariffs and they have went from people riding bikes by the 100 millions to now having cars, nice homes etc., on the backs of the American worker. Meanwhile back in the United States half our people are on welfare, and the working class is getting taxed to death and now we are the ones riding bikes and scooters because we can't afford anything else.
its the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of the world.

Tariffs aren't going to get them jobs. It just means they won't be able to afford to buy anything with their unemployment checks.
Trump is a populist not a policy wonk. Sooner we understand this easier to come to terms with his meandering rhetoric and his growing support.
His mantra is simple. No big words, no policy speak (only pols do that), keep it mono-syllable simple.
Trump is linguistically very similar to W and masses love it and can't blame them for it.

The future will be much worse. Slap tariffs on everything and people won't even be able to buy the cheap Chinese junk with their government checks. Benefit amounts would have to double to cover the increase in prices. So, all in all, good job keeping that debt in line.
The trick is to replace (by constitutional amendment with a phase in period) all internal federal taxes with a tariff that would bring in the same amount of money. The tariff must be equal on all products from all sources to prevent politicization. I call it the Double Flat Tariff Only amendment. This is the only proposal I've seen that eliminates the IRS and would cause multi-national corporations to lobby for lower spending.

Trump may say he is skipping tonight's debate.
When the entire US government goes on attack like this is makes me giddy to see someone stand up and fight. This is either the biggest staged show on earth or it is our government panicking. They will not stop...vote fraud...hit attempts I bet they will try everything.

Did you see some of the strange results in states like NH, Georgia and Virginia? There were a few precincts were Trump got O votes. Wayne Madsen discussed this.

Nothing odd about it, voter/election fraud only works with close elections, and even with Trump winning comfortably in several states there were still heavy reports of irregularities with machines designating Trump votes to Rubio. Trump might have hypothetically won every state following New Hampshire with the exceptions of Texas and Alaska, and it would be difficult to prove with the way machine voting works. I'm a poll worker in PA, and although I am confident that all of the people on staff are honest, I can't say the same for the people who send the machines to us and what the calculations actually figure to be since voting is private.
