Live Stream: March for the Troops in D.C. Toady!!!

Yeah but, they couldn't finance the wars without the Fed now could they. The public would be outraged if visible taxes were raised to pay for them. Better the hidden tax of inflation.

It's the sound bite that counts, combined with what people see. A Veteran's march. You don't try to explain that to people by a rally like this, you stick to an identifiable message. A veteran's march like this was an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, ending the wars and electing RP. So what do they chant with most uniformity? 'End the Fed'. So the average American, should he ever even see it, scratches his head in confusion. Ugh.

Go back and read the comments on this thread. Most of them are one liners about how squishy we're feeling. Forget about what we're trying to accomplish. It reminds me of freerepublic.

I watched every minute of the feed. "End the Fed" wasn't chanted half as much as "President Paul"... they did just fine.

We always have these Monday morning campaign managers picking everything apart. It's silly.

It was actually followed by "End the Wars" too... For all we know the "End the Fed" part might have been when they were marching past one of the affiliated buildings.... Also, they had moments of silence for the troops killed and who committed suicide and army-like marches, so if you think all the media is going to show is "End the Fed", well that's pretty ignorant. I'd say it's the msot likely part to be omitted.

I suggest putting Splanky on your ignore list, because there is absolutely no reason to be poo-pooing on the outstanding display that the troops put on today.

I'd love to know what you have done to help win this election.

I too have a warning for you, Mr. President. We can do this the easy way, or the hard way

knock on the door
kokesh: "who's there?"
reply: "just a couple guys in black suits and dark sunglasses, sir. please open the door now"

6 months later in the Ron Paul Forums:
"wonder where kokesh is? havent' heard from him in months?"

I marched in the back and END the fed was only really chanted twice on the way back...it was mostly president paul and legalize the constitution...the event in the front of the WH drew a lot of attention from outlookers..mostly kids getting educational tours, we'll they certainly picked the right day for it...I heard kids talking among themselves and they understood what was happening...

we had traffic stopped for three blocks for about 10 mins...i finally got a chance to march down Constitution Ave! How fitting.
