Six days.

Whether or not U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham ignores you and me in the U.S. Senate for another six years could come down to the next six days.

In fact, this could be THE most important time period of this entire campaign for the U.S. Senate.

As I’ve said from the beginning of this campaign, the first challenger to reach 25% in the polls WILL be the candidate to take on Lindsey Graham.

I’ll explain why I’ve made that prediction shortly . . .

But the truth is, my campaign is so close! According to a recent poll by Senator Rand Paul’s pollster, we’re only a little over 7% away from this magic number!

So won’t you please contribute to my campaign’s 25 for 25% Money Bomb as generously as you can today to help push me over the top?

A big money bomb for my campaign will help send a loud-and-clear message that will resonate nationwide: “Senator Lindsey Graham’s days in the U.S. Senate are numbered.”

So won’t you please act at once?

For the sake of our fragile Republic, I’m not sure we can afford six more years of Senator Lindsey Graham betraying you and me at every turn, including:

*** Voting to RAM through the $700 BILLION TARP bailout -- the vote which many pundits believe turned the Tea Party movement into a massive nationwide political force;

*** Joining with every single Senate Democrat in voting to fund the job-killing ObamaCare scheme, which now threatens every last shred of economic growth;

*** Joining with then-Senator John Kerry in supporting Big Government legislation designed to combat the Left’s favorite bogeyman -- “global warming;”

*** Joining with Chuck Schumer and President Obama to try and force a disastrous new “immigration reform” bill into law;

*** Voting to confirm President Obama’s RADICAL pro-abortion, anti-gun U.S. Supreme Court nominees Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan;

*** Voting with all but four Senate Democrats in voting to bring gun control to the floor of the U.S. Senate for debate;

*** Joining with Senate Democrats in attacking Senator Rand Paul by name after his historic 13-hour filibuster, which forced the Obama administration to finally back down and admit it had no constitutional authority to use drones to assassinate Americans on American soil without trial.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Senator Graham actually worked with REPUBLICANS to get something done for a change?

Wouldn’t it be nice if -- instead of throwing a hissy fit when a real constitutional conservative stands up to this President -- Senator Graham actually took his Oath of Office seriously?

It would also be nice if the $17.3 TRILLION in national debt our federal government has accrued thanks to Senators like Lindsey Graham just vanished into thin air.

I don’t know about you, but I’m not holding my breath.

Instead I’m asking you to help me do something about this!

But time is running out!

You see, should no candidate reach 50% in the Republican Primary, two weeks later, there will be a Run-Off between the two top vote getters.

Recent polls have Senator Graham’s “deserves reelection” number at a dismal 38%.

Meanwhile, I’m the next closest challenger at 17.4%. That’s me.

There are some other folks I have immense respect for in this race. But the truth is, my numbers are more than three times as high as the next closest challenger.

For months, I’ve heard conservative and Liberty Movement groups all over the country say they’re fed up with Lindsey Graham.

But they want to sit back and wait for a potential Run-Off.

I know they can’t be serious.

I know they realize that with only two weeks between South Carolina’s Republican Primary and the Run-Off, you and I can’t afford to wait around and just hope.

That’s a recipe for DISASTER.

Senator Graham has over $7 million in the bank.

After recent polls showed those dismal numbers, he immediately announced a six-figure ad buy across South Carolina and that barely put a dent in his war chest.

That’s why I believe as soon as a challenger reaches 25% in the polls, the outside groups and funding necessary to beat Senator Graham will start flooding into South Carolina.

So I’m asking you to help me get there.

My campaign has been busy crafting an all-out push to help put me over the top, including;

*** Three hard-hitting statewide mailings exposing Senator Graham’s votes on everything from ObamaCare funding to voting to confirm President Obama’s Supreme Court pro-abortion, anti-gun nominees;

*** A massive statewide email and Internet ad campaign highlighting Senator Lindsey Graham’s anti-gun votes and consistent support for raising the debt ceiling instead of cutting spending;

*** Newspaper and radio ads to ensure Senator Graham doesn’t get away with stabbing conservatives in the back over so-called “immigration reform;”

*** Hard-hitting TV ads calling out Senator Graham for voting with President Obama 50% of the time and supporting the NSA’s blatantly unconstitutional spying schemes.

This is the plan that will catapult my campaign -- not just to 25% -- but to the top of the polls and ultimately the U.S. Senate.

But I’m counting on you to help me put this plan into action.

You see, this isn’t my campaign.

It never has been.

As I’ve said from the beginning, if you and I are going to defeat Lindsey Graham, the grassroots are going to have to lead the way.

The good news is, whether you’re looking at the polls or the endorsement race, I’m rapidly emerging as the unquestionable challenger to Senator Graham.

After all, just in recent weeks, I’ve received the endorsements from:

>>> The Republican Liberty Caucus;

>>> The head of South Carolina’s premier Liberty Movement organization, Talbert Black, who heads South Carolina Campaign for Liberty;

>>> Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX) -- which was the first and ONLY Congressional endorsement any challenger has so far received.

And even more are in the works . . .

That’s because I’m the one candidate in this race with a proven record.

I have a long record of standing up for our God-given constitutional liberties in Columbia.

Whether that’s the Second Amendment, the Right to Life, sound money, fighting to END ObamaCare, stop out-of-control government spending or protect our civil liberties, my record is unmatched.

In fact, because of my strong record, one left-wing magazine named one of the five most “dangerous” candidates running for office!

That’s 100% true. I am dangerous.

I’m dangerous to the Big Government status quo we’ve seen under BOTH parties because I will do everything in my power to end politics-as-usual in Washington, D.C.

If I’m elected, you’ll have no doubt where I stand.

That will be firmly beside Senators Rand Paul (R-KY), Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX).

As for Senator Graham?

If elected, he’ll continue standing right beside Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Harry Reid (D-NV).

It’s time for conservatives, Tea Partiers and Liberty Movement activists to make their choice.

I’m the clear candidate to take on and DEFEAT Senator Lindsey Graham.

But I must be able to count on your support today.

Won’t you please contribute as generously as you can to my campaign’s 25 for 25% Money Bomb right away?

Whether it’s $500, $250, $100, $50, $25 or even $10, your support will make a big difference.

So please act once.

Thank you, in advance, for your support.

Sincerely,

Off-topic: Is there any particular reason campaign emails are structured this way? They seem so ridiculous to me.

Lee Bright needs someone to follow him around with a camera. Does anyone in SC own a camera? It's kind of frustrating when you're trying to follow someone's campaign and the most recent video of them is always a few months old.

I just donated $100 so maybe he can get him a decent camera.

The most effective is to put out quality and hard-hitting information. The structure sucks, and is the reason I delete most of the emails I receive now.
These types of email get the most amount of money out of the most amount of people. You are not the average political donor.

^ Most likely true. Ron Paul's and Rands are structured the same way. I'm guessing someone knows what moves the average voter.

They don't move me, but good luck to them.

Would Lee Bright's nomination as the GOP candidate count as 1 of the 6 seats needed in the Senate to regain the majority?

No,but Lindsey Graham losing in a strong GOP State to a liberty candidate would send a message to the rest of the party that would be impossible to ignore.
Having an R next to your name ain't good enough anymore.

Lindsey Graham losing to a Democrat because he is a sold out RINO shill will not help us.

True,but he is the only GOP candidate up for election in '14 that I would not cry no matter who he lost to.
Lee Bright would be beyond wonderful,certainly one of my top 3 in the Senate out the gate and I will send him some money.
But anybody,seriously anybody,beating him will please me.
I guess my hate runs deep.

Because that format is the most effective.
Infographics, Matt. Trust me on this. The format campaigns use now are the tried and true methods, but infographics are the future. They can't be produced as quickly, but good ones will draw more donations per view. A good team of infographic artists could turn all of the information in this email into an interesting flow that potential donors would follow to the final click more easily.

(Anyway, I could talk about it for hours... We're going to need to be on the leading edge of marketing if we're going to make an impact.)

Actually yes it will. The more RINOs we take out the less of them there will be, and the more that the ones left will shift with the winds in our direction. Of course the reality is that SC will not be electing a Democrat Senator anytime soon.

Except that the people interested in infographics are younger. Younger people do not typically donate.

Most people don't take the time to read these emails. They read the beginning and the end, the graphics, and the underlined/bolded portions. Mass fundraising emails like these aren't supposed to connect with you on an intellectual level - they're supposed to convince thousands of angry old people to contribute a few bucks.

There has been a ton of research done on this. I understand it may seem counter-intuitive, but people respond the best to these kinds of emails.

Huh? Where did you get that? Infographics aren't about age - they're about putting information into a more user-friendly format. The purpose isn't to get people interested in the graphic, the purpose is to get them to absorb the info and then click the donate button. This statement is like saying, "Only young people like pictures with their words". I've done plenty of research on this... Here's a quick explanation:

Now, you still have to make sure the graphic is aesthetically pleasing to your target audiences, but to engage in the ostrich tactic isn't helping. If done right, they can also be shared to a wider audience other than what is in the campaign's mailing lists.

On average, total views increased by 94% if a published article contained a relevant photograph or infographic when compared to articles without an image in the same category

I'm sick of these emails too. They should just hyperlink everything and put "click here to win a prize".

Go Bright, though.

Where is Lindsey in the polls? I know John Cornyn is in trouble, he's in the low 40s and will likely go to a runoff.
