Lol, so they are going to randomly attack a city in his state with a population of just over 100,000. If they get it that far why not take it North or South to a metropolis?

Is there anything differentiating Graham and Eichmann at this point? I can't imagine if he could get away with it tomorrow that he wouldn't be ecstatic to send all us meddling kids away for good. What a sociopath of the first order. FEAR FEAR FEAR >> POWER POWER POWER.

Young neo-con and McCain/Graham apprentice Tom Cotton essentially said the same thing at the House Hearing yesterday. He said that Iran would fire nuclear ICBMs at the US.

If the terrorists ever declare a focused Jihad on closeted gay Senators from states south of the Mason-Dixon line... Well, I would say he could worry for real at that point.

The neo-cons are trying to move him up to the Senate. It will be a sad day if that happens. Just like cockroaches, you get rid of one, and another pops right up.

Yes, because if you are worried about terrorists bombing a city in America, everyone should know that the solution is to arm, train and support known terrorists, as they have been doing with the Al Qaeda-affiliated rebels in Syria.

Yes, because why try to hit a major financial or political hub when you could really devastate the country by bombing a city renowned for it ubiquitous sweetgrass basket vendors and namesake cream-filled chocolate chews?

(despite my levity, I actually think Charleston is the shizznit. But the idea that it would ever be a major target for terrorists is laughable)

The former mayor of Pineville, LA lives a few houses down from my grandfather. When he still held his office, on 9/11 he ordered the police chief to station patrols around his house and they remained there for the week. He believed and was quoted as saying that he was a likely target for the next terrorist attack. Needless to say this man remains bat-shit crazy...and electable apparently.

He sure has a guilty conscience.

Nope. Seriously doubt that asshole has ever felt guilty about a damn thing. When he knew he was giong to lose his re-election bid he attempted to fire the entire sanitation department before he left.

He was psychotic with a elvated sense of self importance. To believe he, as a mayor of a small do nothing town with a population of less than 15k, was a likely target of Al Queda is just clinically insane.

He probably should have run for congress.

Psychosis, delusions of grandeur, self-absorption and an authoritarian streak... yep - right down the checklist: that's your everyday, common-or-garden politician for ya.
