Did anyone who listened to El Rushbo today notice how he just skewered Huck for a couple of hours? He brought up the same arguments that most on this board put forth, minus his position on foreign policy of course. As I was listening my mind wandered back to earlier in the week when he tried to portray Dr. Paul as a kook for basically doing the same thing with his "fascist" statement on Fox. Do all these folks who hang on his every word every day even comprehend, just a little bit, the hypocracy of it all?

Odd thing is that the local radio motormouths in the MSP area got the context of the comment from Dr. Paul on Faux Noise right.

As much as Limpbag's comments are willfully taken out of context by the socialist MSM, it's somewhat surprising to hear him engaging in the same behavior.

Come on friend, think about it. These radio talkingheads supposedly espouse most of the same views as Ron Paul. And that is why their petulent attitude toward him is so vexing. Yes, the 'war on terror' does seem to be the major issue that they continue to hold on to.
By them I lump Limbaugh, Savage,Hannity, Laure Ingraham and to some extent, Boortz all together. Each of them in some way have ridiculed Dr. Paul in some fashion and dismissed his effort.
They are the very comentators that managed to wake millions of Americans up to what is going on in that cesspool of coruption, D.C. Without their daily education in the manipulations of the political parties, I know I would still be ignorant of what is going on. Each one of them in some way, have done a great service in making a bunch of us realize that WE have a responsibility to stop the erasure of the great American experiment.

Huckabee is officially done. First he criticizes Bush, then a member of his campaign criticizes Rush Limbaugh...now, obviously as RP supporters we don't fall in the same group as Bush & Limbaugh, but this is precisely the market that Huckabee was catering to. Check out Michelle Malkin's blog & comments on this topic. Again, this is the segment he would be most appealing to and he just ruined it.

Huck scares me, the religious right is flocking to him in droves. I have to say as long as you spout forth your Christianity they will follow like lemmings...regardless of the candidate.

To quantify this statement I will reference the numerous dirty scandals of televangilists( take your pick as the cornucopia is overflowing with them!). They always act surprised when they learn of their misdeeds....why? Because as a group they trust ANYONE who boasts about his faith. They do not use critical thought, they use their "feelings" about the man. In other words, they act like fools, dolts and tools.

The best part is when these charlatans start crying and beg forgiveness from the Lord and the congregation.....the people BUY it!!

So be wary of Huckster, be VERY VERY WARY.

I am soooo SICK and TIRED of the religious right............that being said.......

Christ is my savior and that relationship is private(and he does not mind me practicing Taoism as well, I think they are quite complimentary). I do not attend church or belong to any religious organization. I do read my Bible for inspiration, the words of Jesus in the book of Mathew are beautiful and speak of all the goodness we are capable of.

Well said....As one who grew up as a "Preacher's Kid", I could write several books about this subject. More often than not, in a church setting, emotions rule over critical thought. I whole-heartedly am a believer in God, but be Very Very Wary of politicians flocking to evangelists and vice-versa. Case-in-point - Huckabee and Hagee.
