Ron Paul was there. If he didn't get the award, the people who run CPAC are either the biggest liars ever, or the biggest idiots.

Limbaugh, the 'Conservative' who asked his listeners to vote for Hillary in the primaries?

Go figure...

If Ron Paul had won in the primaries, I would have welcomed such an effort. "Operation Chaos" was very entertaining, and I was somewhat rooting for it to succeed just because it would have been very comical.

I feel like the world is slowly turning upside down when I hear things like the OP.:p

The World Turned Upside Down said:
The wine pot shall clinke, we will feast and drinke.
And then strange motions will abound.
Yet let's be content, and the times lament, you see the world turn'd upside down.

The serving men doe sit and whine, and thinke it long ere dinner time:
The Butler's still out of the way, or else my Lady keeps the key,
The poor old cook, in the larder doth look,
Where is no goodnesse to be found,
Yet let's be content, and the times lament, you see the world turn'd upside down.

To conclude, I'le tell you news that's right, Christmas was kil'd at Naseby fight:
Charity was slain at that same time, Jack Tell troth too, a friend of mine,
Likewise then did die, rost beef and shred pie,
Pig, Goose and Capon no quarter found.
Yet let's be content, and the times lament, you see the world turn'd upside down.

According to myth, this English ballad was played when the British surrendered at Yorktown.

What exactly is so constitutional about the rhetoric that Rush Spews?

Doesn't he support the undeclared Iraq war? That alone should disqualify him.

Is this the same Rush Limbaugh who said these things about the man who should be getting the award?:

“Ron Paul could even win New Hampshire. Then will the media be saying things like ‘Oh boy, I guess Republicans in New Hampshire don’t mind mentally insane people as their candidate"

Limbaugh then mentioned the $4 million raised in one day by Ron Paul and said that “no one even knows how he did it”.

Funny, I guess Rush thinks Ron Paul must have been "mentally insane" to defend him when he was in trouble for OxyContin abuse:

Doesn't he look like a younger version of McCain in this picture?

This is just further proof for me that the Reoublican Party learned nothing at all and is for all intents and purposes dead.

Rush Limbauagh talkin' bout the 'drug' addicts:
"Hang 'em High and Let Em' Dry!!!!!!!!!!!"
- In Limbaugh's particular case, I say, "so be it".

Unlike most here, I like Rush, and I don't call him a neo-conservative and other profane names, but I don't think he deserves the award when many others really put their efforts into defense of the Constitution.

Even if you took Congressman Paul out of the picture (who is a Constitutionalist icon), there are others more deserving.

The award is just a popularity contest, nothing more.
