LibertyClick.org Shareable Archive Website

I think BUTSRSLY has pointed the firehose of his uncensored thoughts at this thread. Hey BUTSRSLY, sometimes it's OK to NOT post all of the things that you are thinking about on a random internet discussion.

OK to NOT

YOU HAVE WRITING PROBLEMS. ARE YOU 14 YEARS OLD? I WILL WORK WITH YOU. OTHERWISE YOU ARE OLD ENOUGH TO DEMONSTRATE SUCH AN INABILITY TO RECTIFY OFFENSIVE LITERARY STRUCTURE ON YOUR OWN AND ARE THUS HOPELESS. TRY MODERATION IN POSTING THERE BIG GUY

WTF is going on in here?

+1

I don't know but I think it must be good.

Working on some new videos. I try to post links to videos on youtube channels that seem likely to be around for a long time. When I can't find that, or a video I like is on lizardpeoplevideos.com, I upload it on youtube.com/libertyclick.

SORRY IT'S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I RESPONDED. I HAVE BEEN BUSY WORKING ON LIBERTYCLICK-IS-A-SCAM.ORG

the site is useful to me as a way to organize links that I use frequently and I'll keep it going for that reason.

More on this...

Some of you may have seen the past iteration of this website, LibertyClick.com (which I no longer control and features some hilarious stock photography if you're interested.) It was a bit schizophrenic, far less organized than this, and focused much more on news and current events. This time I have decided to focus on timeless content for a few reasons. First, I don't see anyone else doing this, whereas it seems websites that regurgitate news are popping up all the time. Second, I don't plan the website to ever be a revenue stream, and therefore my time will be limited. I like the idea that each post I make has a chance to be useful in perpetuity, as opposed to the short-lived daily news article.

The other philosophical change I've made from v1 .com to v2 .org is that I have gained what I believe to be understanding of what the role of a website operator ought to be. There is no easier way that I can think of to guard against the migration of mission over time than to focus always on what is or would be interesting and useful to me. I am the only person on whom I am an expert (although an argument could be made I have a ways to go for that.) Therefore why would I spend each day becoming an expert on the 'target audience' or 'people I need to convert?' That kind of thinking too often leads to a changing mission over time, referred to as selling out in some cases.

It may seem to be contradictory to my earlier statement,

I imagine the mass of people who aren't extreme and I aim to curate interesting and truthful examples of liberty that isn't outright offensive to that mass.

... and perhaps it is somewhat. The distinction I make is that I first consider posting content when it makes me say 'heck yeah' and then I reject it sometimes on the basis of a few guesses as to what others think. Perhaps it is nearly always offensive to anyone who doesn't already agree with it, a truth so under-believed that it is a pill too hard to swallow. Perhaps it is not digestible - very few people can comprehend it. But in no case do I post something that I wouldn't be glad to have found myself if I hadn't known about it already.

THAT IS CORRECT.

Some of you ... found myself if I hadn't known about it already.

lol, yes I see that random visitors to the site may feel a bit out of their element, I don't see many downsides to this. To the extent visitors are interested they will be rewarded, and the extent to which they are not is indicative of the chances I had to share insight with them at all.

YOU ARE A BIASED CHILD. NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR NUMBER GAMES. WHEN YOU ARE DONE FLAGELLATING AND WATCHING GOOGLE ANALYTICS WITH TWO MIRRORS YOU CAN BUY LIBERTYCLICKSTATCALLER.COM AND RUN AN EXTENSIBLE TICKER API SO WE CAN GENERATE A FLEDGLING SUBRACE OF AUTOMATON CHILDSITES AS A MEGAPHONE BEACON TO YOUR SUPREMACY. HAIL THE FUTURE RACE OF MASHUP VIDEOS AND YOUTUBE RESPONSES TO THEM, ALL IN REVERENCE TO THE ONLY RELEVANT TOPIC TO AMERICAN LIFE, HOW MANY CLICKS YOU GOT THAT DAY IN GLORIOUS PIE CHARTS. MAYBE CAROL PAUL WILL SIGN ON TO DO A COMMERCIAL INFOMERCIAL SELLING STRESS TOYS WITH YOUR LOGO ON IT. DID YOU CLIMAX

You seem to be having reading comprehension problems.

He wasn't counting clicks. He was talking about how many different topics he feels his site needs entries in to be comprehensive enough to be a real go-to resource for us.

Which makes you the real propagandist. He's not lying about other people's motivations. You are.

See, nayjevin, you have to do random run-on sentences that are bereft of punctuation and order, are full of sound and fury, but when you follow the twisted syntax, turn out to signify nothing at all.

Hey. She may have a point. It works for the MSM.

There are 3,582,947 websites full of Stalinist talking points for you to use. There are only a couple with talking points for us to fight your tyranny with. The internet is big enough to accommodate this. And so is the principle of free speech.

I've changed the front page of the site to be the site map, which is getting to be a bit more useful.

I'd appreciate anything folks would do to get the word out about the site, retweeting, or ideas for content additions.

Thanks!
