There are two things going on here, one is that we never know who will change course and begin to understand and promote the truth, and the other is that operating as though it's possible to change someone's mind is healthier. Both lead me to operate under the assumption it's possible for a mind to change. Walter Jones seems to be a good example.

I don't expect many donations. Sustainability will ultimately require liberty hosting and https, so that's where donations would go, but at this early stage I put that up there a) because I was figuring out how to accept bitcoin donations b) to provide an example of that possibility to others c) bitcoin name recognition d) declaration of independence

Fair point, the site is useful to me as a way to organize links that I use frequently and I'll keep it going for that reason.

I don't see the curation part of the site as ever becoming automated, I'd like to save time but the site is wordpress so it's pretty streamlined already. I don't think my titles are stunningly unique but I don't particularly care for 01/04/2012: Video: Ron Paul type titles so I change it up a bit.

It is a bit lame to focus so much on Rand from a global perspective when Thomas Massie is pound for pound the greatest American politician. But it's probably fair to weigh in the percentage of people who are aware of Rand in some ways, and the potential long-term upside of promoting that individual. A site for promoting all underdogs would be interesting too.

I wouldn't be sure I was doing great thinking while considering who 'the best' politician is. A potential long term goal would be to have an extensive collection of well-presented, truthful, persuasive, impressive content about Thomas Massie and Rand Paul on the site, there will be lots. The number of posts in each category is only somewhat representative of the eventuality, the initial group of postings was not planned to be representative.
