Libertarians to GOP Establishment – Back Off!!!

I think some of the folks at Lew Rockwell's place got dropped on their heads as babies or something.

That or they just realized that Bush was right after all. Sometimes you have to abandon libertarian principles to save liberty.

Justin Raimondo over at Anti-war is full on the Trump train as well.

Trying real hard to see the bigger picture like they are suggesting. I don't think they fully grasp the consequences of this.

I agree, I don't get it at all. If Rand had said he wanted to send 30K troops to Syria in last week's debate, Raimondo would have raked him over the coals (and rightly so.)

Ah the old Viet Nam "we had to destroy the village in order to save it" hypothesis, didn't wash either then or now.

"Any compromise between good and evil only works to detriment of the good and to the benefit of the evil."

People supported Ron Paul for all kinds of reasons, many were not libertarians nor did they did they ever make that claim, and Ron and Rand themselves have always identified as conservative, not libertarian, on top of that I can never find any two libertarians who agree on what libertarian means, but like all of you, they still seem to feel they are definitive authority on it.

Let me ask you all this, would I be correct in assuming we all feel Iraq was a mistake on so many levels, one of them being that looking at it now, as bad as Saddam was, he at least kept some measure of order and stability?

So, even tho Saddam is by no means a person we agree with or would say is a good man, we would agree leaving him in power was better than toppling him and sending the whole region into chaos - well, I guess by the logic all of you employ, you are no longer libertarian because you "support" Saddam.

I've yet to see anyone on here claim Trump is a good man, or liberty minded or any of that, well, let me correct that, I see all of you anti-Trumpers accusing people of it, but I've never seen anyone who voted/will vote for him saying that. His campaign is what is causing the entrenched powers to be disrupted, and that is what people are focusing on, not Trump himself.

So, if you want to continue on with these BS posts where you have to put words in people's mouths and misrepresent their position, fine, but it's blatantly obvious to anyone you really have no real argument.

All the Libertarian Party needs to do in order to prevent this is treat these GOP establishment types EXACTLY how they've treated us at their convention. Who knows, if these so-called establishment types get a dose of their own medicine, they might learn something, though I doubt it.

Kind of a childish mentality, don't you think?

Nope, correction through punishment is actually how parents deal with their children. If the GOP establishment isn't given correction in a matter that they will understand, they will never learn, and we will have done them a horrible disservice. (stole that from Cop & A Half)

I disagree with you. Snubbing them is not the same as getting rid of them. I don't want to correct them. I want to fire them.
