Libertarian National Convention

well... this second ballot should be interesting. Where do you think people will go? NOT GRAVEL.

Interesting... they exclude PAUL! Even the *tarians censor Dr. Paul

first round total Barr 153 (24%), Ruwart 152 (24%), Root 123 (20%), Gravel 71 (11%), Phillies 49 (8%), Kubby 40 (6%), Jingozian 23 (4%),Smith 6 (1%), NOTA 2, Ron Paul 6, William Colon 1, Penn Jillette 3, Imperato 1

The second round will be Barr Ruwart Root Gravel Phillies Kubby

I'm torn. Part of me wants Barr to get the nomination so he rips votes from McCain and part of me wants Ruwart because of her worshipping of Ron Paul and part of me wants Root to win because I actually like him the most out the bunch.

Which of the candidates is going to throw their support to another candidate is the key.

What's the appeal of WAR?

He has enthusiasm and he understands the free market...at least that's what I see.

And Ruwart worships Ron Paul, which kind of worries me. It seems like she panders to the message, but doesn't really feel it and understand it fully. I mean, last night when she mentioned fees and taxes I was worried...that's never been a good way to do things. She also said the troops were "guarding oil", which is a play from the two party book. She doesn't elaborate on the true economic problems and I don't think she understands that.

And lol amen LibertyEagle. It's funny they can preach about libertarian values when 11 percent go and vote for Gravel. Bob Barr is the only one that can break the Libertarian party of its rut, and I think WAR could help.

Dunno, I read part of a book by here that was online (an earlier version of the "Healing Our World" thing?) and she certainly seemed to have a good understanding of libertarian viewpoint... one of the few writers I have seen who sees the economic and societal damage that is inherent in the granting of "monopoly" via government "licensing"...
