Libertarian National Convention

Kludge, didn't you put Jingo high on your list? LOL.

I can't find where I listed them. I believe it was something like

1) Ruwart
2) Barr
3) Smith
4) Kubby
5) Jingo
6) WAR
---------------- <- Line of no vote
7) Gravel
8) Imperato

I actually dig Kubby ...

I think Kubby is really cool..I like him the most out of the "traditional" Libertarians. Still, I think he should be a Senator or something...I just can't picture him as president and you know image is a big deal for people.

I too think they'll be crazy if they don't nominate Barr.

Imperato endorsed Barr.

Can't stand Barr. Social conservative and voted for the Patriot Act. Unforgiveable crime for voting for the Act.

It's not as though they were given reasonable time to vote on the act.... Barr lobbied hard for amendments to restrict government invasions of privacy.

Well, how familiar are you with LP internal politics? :D

Zip. But, I have seen that they seem to in-fight quite a lot. There also seem to be 2 very divergent factions, although I'm sure there are more. The CATO people vs. the Mises-type people. CATO seems to me to lean towards big government and also seems to be "politically-correct".

Just remember, all of you Ruwart fans, she slipped last night. She has general ideas, but not specifics. She mentioned taxes and fees....that's never been Libertarian or even Conservative..it's a Democrat tactic. I really don't think she'd know how to pick through legislation and such. Bob Barr knows and he's going in with a mission.
