Rockwell strikes me as a guy who is insufferable to people who don't pass his purity tests.
Yep, he is a big disappointment.Lew Rockwell is a fanatic. His site provides good content for people who want to study the academics of market economics and libertarianism, but he's a disaster when it comes to finding a practical application for any of his viewpoints.
When you invite leftists to a libertarian campaign, and cowtow to the racial egalitarian narrative while still trying to court the right, there is bound to be some problems. Rand has no one to blame but himself.
Boy, when Wrathbardian Rockwell, Inc. and Stormfront boys like Paleo are united in contempt for Rand makes me want to get some Rand Paul rally signs made and curl my hair.
Giddy?
Not that I can see.
Is what he quoted true?

Lew Rockwell giddy at prospect of Rand's demise.
Rockwell's only comments on those items were "Has Rand stalled or is that just the opinion of ex-NYT blog 538?" and "Bitter infighting at the Rand campaign. Sometimes it comes close to fisticuffs." The first is merely a neutrally and fairly worded question, and the second is, at worst, a provocative attention getter (de rigueur for social media). But for the life of me, I am unable to detect any "giddiness" in either remark ...
What's the thread title based on? I didn't see any giddiness in the OP.

He can't stand Rand although he's 90% like his dad, but he likes how Trump is shaking things up?
Me, too.
Throw in the doom and gloom trolls like RPM saying we have to tell the world our man sucks out of 'tough love' and I get to feeling positively giddy about our chances. The buzzards circle and act like they're going to get a feast, but they haven't gotten one clean bite yet.
We must not cowtow to the racial egalitarian narrative, even though George Wallace couldn't get into the national election in 1968, much less today. Funny. He'll never win the nomination unless he flip flops on everything he has ever said. Yeah, now there's some sound advice.
Funny how the media is blathering 24/7 about Rand Paul's failed campaign when he's in the first debate and a whole host of their current and former darlings are not. And funnier how often the people here bawling over spilt milk and trying to encourage Rand Paul to do the stupidest things he could possibly do--and encouraging us to abandon him if he does not--pile on and make posts at such a rate you'd swear they had no other job at all.
Lew Rockwell doesn't strike me as the kind of man who gets "giddy" over the misfortunes of his friends son but he has a political blog and posts stuff of interest to his readers.
He was very nice to me and I doubt I would pass any kind of "purity" test.![]()
