Well, these coordinated efforts do a GREAT job of getting the word out. November 5th was a huge success. Now, I think the next major coordinated event should be a coordinated T-SHIRT day!

Now, I'm sure all of you on the boards wear your Ron Paul shirts all the time, but we really need to make this a nationwide coordinated effort. We need to get EVERY Ron Paul supporter to wear their Ron Paul gear on the same day! This would really show off Ron Paul's support to the general public.

We need to turn this into a major event, like the November 5th thing. If people see a bunch of Ron Paul shirts throughout the course of the day, they'll realize that he is the real deal. I think this would be an extremely effective tactic, if we can organize it and get enough people to do it. It can be anything... Ron Paul shirts, buttons, whatever you've got! Something to display to the public that you are a Ron Paul supporter wherever you go.

Props to Parke's ideas in this thread: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=33686

I think that doing this on Black Friday would provide the ultimate benefit. I'm sure the idea has been kicked around, I'm sure I've heard people mention wearing Ron Paul stuff on black friday, but we need to turn this into a nationwide, huge thing! We need to get EVERY Ron Paul supporter to wear something on a coordinated day! What do you guys think?

Great idea.

Zero cost (other than a shirt)
Gets his name out.

And yeah, this wouldn't get as much media attention as a huge money bomb or anything, but this could help us get a TON of new voters. Just imagine what you'd be thinking if you saw a whole bunch of Ron Paul t-shirts and buttons just randomly throughout the day... Not only would it help dispel the "he can't win" thing, but I'm sure that we'd get a lot more people asking about him and paying attention to him.

Besides, everyone wears their shirts anyways! Let's just coordinate it so that EVERYONE wears them on the SAME day.

would be a good idea if it wasnt getting colder already.. are we gonna walk around without jackets in the middle of winter for a day?

How about black Friday?

I don't have to work that day...and I'll probably be out in public

Good call... I didn't really think of that cos I live in Los Angeles. Well, there are a couple things we can do. First of all, you can wear Ron Paul pins on your jackets. And secondly, if we do this on Black Friday, just wear a Ron Paul shirt indoors while you shop! I really think we should coordinate this on Black Friday, that would solve this problem since everyone would be indoors anyways.

Anyways, the real question would be, how can we market this to make sure EVERYONE knows to wear Ron Paul gear on Black Friday? We need to this to spread around the internet like the November 5th thing. I mean, 36,000 people donated on that day. Can you imagine 36,000 people walking around with Ron Paul shirts on the same day?

I support this idea =D

EDIT: make sure there is time for people to get shirts... also post links to where people can buy shirts/pins on the cheap.

I would think that a promotional effort that actually makes a real difference, like say DELEGATE DAY would be a much better use of time than everyone wearing shirts the same day.

In fact, the idea of everyone wearing shirts on the same day is kinda creepy. Just wear your shirt a lot.

HA HA just do it whenever... when we were in iowa we bought so many shirts, i already wear one every day!

This is why I'm working very hard to spread The Paulunteer Grassroots Newsletter. If this gets popular we will be able to easily communicate with everyone when a project like this comes along.

kinda creepy ...but not Guy Fawkes creepy

The point being that if a lot of Paul supporters visible in public at the same time it might draw another round of media attention.

I think its more of an organized ad campaign using human billboards.
