As someone who lives in his district I can tell you, he doesn't care what people think, he gets reelected automatically. This is one of the most leftist districts in the country (it includes Cambridge, home of Harvard College, and UMass Dartmouth, the number of lefty academics who live here and influence the vote is overwhelming). The rest of the people who live here are Jack Kennedy Democrats and think Barney Frank is some sort of brilliant economic regulator. It's really futile to try to get anything done with him. That being said, it never hurts to send a letter, e-mail, or a phone call. I've sent him a few e-mail in the past and have rarely gotten any kind of response (once recieved a form letter).
