im not saying its not helping a bit but making the argument that this forum is a major factor in today's pushes is a huge stretch.

i think the push is coming bec its 6pm on the west coast and finally people are coming home after being out all day. they see the emails and they go to donate. this pretty much goes for each time zone now because its after 6 across the country.

I agree. All of the "donate now!", "we need a surge!", "now's the time for a big push!" threads are actually having the reverse effect on me.
