Lee Bright on Glenn Beck radio 8/13/13 (tube added)

I've read that South Carolina has an open primary, meaning that independents and Democrats can vote in the Republican Primary. If that's the case, it seems like it will be almost impossible to defeat Graham, since almost all of the Democrats will vote for him. We need to get the South Carolina legislature to change that law and make the primary closed to have any chance to defeat Graham.

I think many of the Dems will vote in the Democratic primary, in order to get a preferable candidate to take on Bright, whom they will perceive as vulnerable (like Angle, O' Donnell or Mourdock) due to his very conservative views. They will undoubtedly fail, but let them try.

If Graham gets under 50% in the primary and the runoff happens, can Democrats and independents vote in the runoff as well? Or is it only Republicans who can vote in that?

Perhaps someone has statistics to prove me wrong, but I am not sure tons of them will turn out for Lindsey.. or that they even have that big an impact in primaries? As compromise points out, there is a case for those who do to go either way, too.

Recording recording right now, I'm 7 minutes into th interview, Beck is acting skeptical but it's going well. Beck usually acts like this to get a feel for the candidate, but it's going well. He liked Lee's response on his faith.

Edit: crap, laptop ran out of battery while recording, I hadn't realized the plug came loose. Recording again...eugh...
