Alan Colmes Radio Show Will Interview the Lawyer Representing More Than 300 Delegates to RNC/GOP Organzied Crime Convention tonight

Yeah, NOT GONNA HAPPEN. R.P. is distancing himself from this as much as possible. ANY of those funds making their way to this case would only serve discredit him.

He can't 'coordinate' with grass roots funded projects. I don't know why this one would be any different.

OK, but you need to get out more. Ron Paul attracts far more people to his ideas than just the libertarian. The Beast has morphed and now includes people of all races and ages, who are tired of wars, big government intrusion, and the destruction of our Constitution.

We will no longer be controlled, put-down, or ignored. We will not conform to your ideas, it is you who must change. We will win! We always win! Go back and tell "them" that.

...And you're telling me to get out more. You sound like some fanatic of a newly founded religious cult, not a follower of a respectable political ideology.

'We always win' is not historically accurate, nor should it be your goal. This is politics. Sometimes you lose. As for the idea that you will win the end, yeah, that could happen. Many of my progressive friends say the same thing about an ascendant Democratic progressive majority due to most youths/minorities being Democratic. It isn't that difficult to lay out the mass majority of plausible paths over the next few months and how people will react to them. It is a much more difficult thing to look decades into the future and say what will happen then.

"We always win" means that with more exposure we double and redouble our support, not necessarily attain a particular office or whatever.

That being said the Republican Party doesn't hate you- it wants your votes and has no problem with people that are libertarian within its party (Rand Paul for instance). It certainly doesn't trust you guys, however, and that distrust will deepen into outright rejection if this lawsuit gets a lot of media coverage or goes viral (otherwise everyone will just forget this ever happened, even if it does go to court). And while you guys think time is on your side, they think the same: with Ron Paul retiring there is no obvious leader of the movement, and movements without leaders tend to fall apart given time.

That's assuming the lawsuit becomes extremely public but fails, i.e. no pervasive fraud is proven. If that's the case, the GOP base will definitely have a sour taste in their mouths, and the GOP leadership would forfeit any pretense of trying to win us over. (I really don't think we'd be losing much in the latter area though.) The fact that Gingrich delegates are jumping on board helps a bit here though.

If the lawsuit successfully proves fraud from the top down - which I suspect it will if it's heard, considering these lawyers' confidence in their evidence* - then it won't matter how much the Republican leadership wants to flay us alive. They will have lost all credibility with the public, and depending on whether there were criminal violations as well, there may be very personal consequences for some of them. Even if they somehow kept up appearances with the Republican base - doubtful - proving top-down fraud would also demonstrate that we had little to lose with the lawsuit anyway, since they already weren't "letting" us win.

*Ordinarily this might not mean much; all lawyers project confidence, and many don't care if they're embarrassed as long as they make their money. These lawyers are working pro bono however, so as far as their personal careers are concerned, they seem to be banking on coming away from this looking pretty good.

The thing is Ron Paul did accurately predict things that took place decades into the future. Ron Paul was right on the economy and he is right on reigning in the Federal Reserve. A Democratic progressive majority would be hard pressed to fund their social ideologies when the government can no longer rack up trillions of dollars in debt. The country is bankrupt, most of the western world is. The Keynesian model is broken. A lot of that is due to corruption and corporatism/fascism, but the system of perpetual growth through debt is faulty. Ron Paul should appeal to progressives who are open minded to the fact that the status quo is not working. They are already with Ron Paul on civil liberties and foreign policy, they will have no choice regarding the economy and spending.

I can't wait until the interview with the lawyer about lawsuit comes on. If I have to hear Roosevelt one more time, I think I'll puke. If Roosevelt walked into Colmes studio right now and pulled down his pants, I believe Colmes would...............

Listening to Colmes waiting for Laywer segment. I never listened to Colmes much but I don't recall him being so abrasive as I am hearing right now. And his reasoning for having a Federal Reserve as opposed to state banks were idiotic. "Because we are a nation!" Oh, okay Alan . Is that the depth of his knowledge of the federal reserve?

I believe it was one of the weakest answers I ever heard. Then afterwards he almost admitted, he doesn't know shit.
