Lawsuit filed in beef over Taco Bell 'meat'

Yes sir the Jack in Box taco's best angle is in the stomach. Still 2 for .99.

I am actually disappointed by Taco Bell on this. I'm disappointed that their beef isn't beef, and I'm double disappointed that their reaponse seems to be "deal with it". It's bad enough that it's 70% filler, but that much of the filler is beef fat, ya I'm sufficiently disgusted.

Does this really surprise anyone? Almost all pre-made burgers have extenders in them (including the ones you get on the "value menu" at burger joints). By the time you add the sauce and seasonings, of course you're going to have a low percentage of beef at Taco Bell.

But what did you think you were going to get for 79 cents? Prime rib?

When I go to Taco Bell, I usually don't get the basic taco. I go for the chicken, it's a bit more expensive, but surely has more real meat and tastes better.

I guarantee "Jack in the Box" taco's aren't "beef" either- Taco Bell is just a bigger target for the lawyers.

Did anyone notice the "value menu" stuff at all the fast food joints keeps getting smaller, too? The "burgers" they use on the 99 cent menus at McD's and Wendy's are so thin I don't know how they keep them from breaking apart, plus, the diameter is smaller. Guess that's why Wendy's doesn't run "where's the beef" commercials anymore.
