Lawson. Price. REMATCH. GAME ON!

:D

Lawson is fantastic. One of my favorite candidates from 2008 besides Paul himself.

What was the name of the physicist that ran in, I think, New Hampshire? I liked him a lot too and haven't heard anything about him for quite a while.

You must mean Jim Forsythe.

His website (www.jimforsythe.com) says:

I am politically active in NH, defending the New Hampshire Advantage - limited government, low taxes, local control, and personal freedom. These are the principles our country was founded on, and New Hampshire has held on to these principles more than most states. But the NH Advantage is under threat by increased spending, regulation, and centralization of power. I am strongly considering a run for the NH Senate in District 4.

That's actually a fairly powerful position since there are only 24 state senators in NH (compared to over 400 state house reps).

This is awesome! I thought I read a few months ago that he wasn't going to run because he didn't want to divert funding from other candidates with more winnable races? Anyway, I guess he took some time to analyze the field and concluded he has a decent shot at winning.

Lawson was the best candidate running in 2008 (other than RP) and he is now the best candidate running in 2010. I think he is far more likely to be Ron Paul 2.0 than even Rand. Finally a candidate I can support 100%!

And as a side note, Jim Forsythe, while a great candidate who I have met personally, didn't actually run in 2008. He started a campaign and then withdrew after he determined the race was not winnable.

Jim Forsythe

That's me. :) Yes, I withdrew and offered folks their money back, then if they let me keep it, put it towards NH house races. We won 23 seats in the NH house. I'm running for NH Senate this time around (couldn't last time - didn't have the time in state).

BJ is great. He and I discussed a lot of issues back when I was exploring the run.

I think that guys like you and BJ will have a much better shot this time around, given that you were running against Republican fatigue and Dem incumbents. Keep us updated as you can, I'm looking forward to seeing where this could go.
