Lawmakers "fearful" of physical violence after health care vote!

Americans have really short memories, but lawmakers seem to think they're much shorter than they are.
They promised to stop the wars, and they didn't.
They said they'd pay as they go, and they didn't.
They said they'd let us read the bills, and they didn't.
They kept every bad policy of W's that they were supposedly against.
Then we got three feet of snow, Washington was shut down for a week, and we all got to see first hand that we don't even need them.
Now they've blatantly stopped listening to us. All in one year.

I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been an assassination yet. That speaks volumes as to the character of the average American.

Yeah that, a bunch.^^^

I might be flamed for saying this, but I just wish there was some vocal, public resistance to the Patriot act way back when. :( Seems like the only thing to rile up people is healthcare? on both sides..

There was.

I was part of it, many states and localities passed similar measures against that they are passing now against hellthcare.

This was a story from 2003 and already one state and 104 towns had passed laws against it.

By 2005:

Since the adoption of the USA Patriot Act by Congress, 342 cities and four states have moved to reject or refuse to recognize it. On July 27, 2004, Des Moines, Iowa's largest city, became the second Iowa community to pass a resolution condemning certain sections of the USA Patriot Act; the resolution included seeking redress from federal officials.

The financial crisis, got people on alert. They are now concerned. Nobody even understood what a patriot act was back then. No one cared. People did not think their government could cause serious danage in their lives. Now government has become a dangerous liability.

Like I said, get ready, when they say they are scared it means they are about to start shooting.

The majority of Blacks will not fight for the government but the caucus knows they will fight for each other. It looked like they were hoping for an incident and when they didn't get it they tried to create one.

HOLY SHIT! I was wondering how common this kind of outrage / type of threads were accross the net, so I googled:

Democrats violence "health care bill"

it returned 27,300,000 - that's 27 MILLION pages! One for every 12th American...

What's worse, Googles spiders take a while to get arround the web, so the real number should be higher - much higher...

Well, for a reality check I put a + in front of each term and the number went down to 18 MILLION. Still, about one for every 20 Americans...

People are PISSED OFF - and these morons keep pushing like everything is normal.

The fuse has been lit.

Why not resurrect the pies some anarchist was throwing at Bill Gates and Ralph Nader a few years ago? The Congress trash will not be hurt, but will be covered in their own filth. They have lost their privilege to stalk about like lords and expect nothing will happen to them.
