Laclede County, MO Caucus: Video of Complete Proceedings

Things were very very legit and civil. Everybody got along. Even the anti-Paul people just mentioned indirect stuff against third parties implying that Paul was going to split the party. The parliamentary rules were adhered to, and the voting was fair.
Can we send this out to the rest of the party as a "how to" video? :p

In all seriousness I'm glad to hear about a vote conducted in the proper above board manner. :D

I think that this is a model example of how all the caucuses should have been run.

I haven't watched yet but the whole procedure is very interesting when it works as it should.

If someone were to juxtaposed the right way(This) and St Charles(chaos), it would go a long way in justifing the cause for liberty, while also highlighting the proper restpect for the rule of law.

I think we also need to overcome a bit of the "Chaos theory". Just the thought of any change has got to terrify a lot of people.
They are probably just acting on cruise control when they push back.

We need to run them out of gas..:D Then we win.

Chaos theory is a scientific theory describing erratic behavior in certain nonlinear dynamical systems.

One thing that helped Laclede County is that the conservatives there are actually conservatives. A good portion of that room may not have supported Ron Paul, but they respect much of what he stands for.

Also, the people in that county tend to be very neighborly and do not want any sort of nasty confrontation.

Done watching vid. That was quite civilized. The chair followed the rules beautifully. Had Dokes done the same there wouldn't of been chaos. But I suppose they wanted an excuse to shut it down after counting the RP supporters there with their illegal straw poll.

The odd thing I found in these videos was the idea that if they ran out of time, the delegate votes would be counted somewhere else and people would be notified if they won. If that had been allowed to happen, it wouldn't have set well with me. I'm surprised no one objected to the idea.

But a motion was approved that it would be moved to the hallway. Instead of fighting against it, the RP faction smoothely introduced an alternative.
