I want to believe he learned his lesson and won't get involved again. The guys who owned the dealership lied under oath saying they didn't ask Kyle for help. They threw him under the bus. Luckily it was very obvious to the jury they lied.

I would agree that there are better ways to do something like that, with a little more organisation and the risk mitigation that comes from that. However, that's not to say it wasn't legal, as the result of the trial shows.

No doubt he broke any number of California laws. But he clearly didn't break any in the jurisdiction he was in at the time, Newsom, and you typing otherwise is libelous.

Probably unrelated, but I'm already hearing sirens here in my city. Just checked in with the high school aged kids to make sure they don't have plans to be in public spaces tonight. Color me paranoid, but one of the reasons I'm still here today is that I learned where to go (and when) and where to not go (and when) as a younger man.

I'm sorry they lost their son, sincerely I am. But their son bashed a person over the head in an act of vigilantism, and it just so happened that this person was armed and defended himself.

Don't show up to a gun fight with a skateboard, I guess.
