A Note from US Senate Candidate Kurt Bills: Dear Friends,

Election Day 2012 will be one of the most critical days in American history. This is truly an historic election that will define an era.

If Obama and the Democrats win this election, America will never look the same. Obama promised to “fundamentally transform America” in 2008, and we’ve seen the results: the government take-over of healthcare, bank bailouts, a dependency culture, rising prices and shrinking wages. He has embraced too-big-to-fail, and made the rest of us too-small-to-win.

In order to defeat Obama and his lieutenant Amy Klobuchar, Republicans of all stripes must stand together. We cannot afford to squabble, and mustn’t equivocate. We need to unite—standing on our shared principles—to win in November.

That’s why I’m declaring my unequivocal support for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. After a hard-fought Republican primary, they alone have the ability to beat Barack Obama in November and help America rediscover its conservative principles.

Mitt Romney is visiting Minnesota today, and I am proud to work with him to defeat Barack Obama.

In the primaries I supported Ron Paul for President. Today I am an enthusiastic supporter of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, and will devote every day between now and November 6th to ensuring a Republican victory in Minnesota for Romney and every other Republican candidate on the ticket.

As Republicans and conservatives, that which unites us is far greater than what divides us, and I hope you will join me in building an organization—from the bottom, up—that can defeat Barack Obama and Amy Klobuchar.

Too much is at stake not to jump into this fight wholeheartedly. We need to tame the deficit; we need to pay down the debt; we need to get the government out of our lives, our health care, and our private lives. Barack Obama is expanding government’s role; Republicans will roll back government intrusion.

Winning this election isn’t everything; it is the only thing. That is why, in addition to taking back this US Senate seat for Minnesota,

I am committed to supporting all Republican candidates for office—and am asking you to do the same.

We’ve had our differences, and fought the good fight. Now is the time to close ranks. Nothing less than the future of our nation is at stake. Work like your children’s future depends upon winning…because it does.

I am extremely disappointed in Kurt. In a state filled with more Independents than Democrats/Republicans, I think this could actually hurt his chances of winning.

So, all that matters to these new so-called liberty candidates is defeating Barack Obama?

Disturbing.

Well, that is a surprise since he specifically said at the endorsement hearing he would stick with Ron until after convention and vote for him.

Support Obama and hope that the monetary and financial collapse comes sooner than expected. That is all.

Its a political "endorsement" people... nothing of actual substance is happening here.

Except breaking a specific promise he made to delegates who gave him the GOP nomination at the State Convention. Already breaking campaign promises and not even elected yet. And campaign promises to US, at that.

Remember that time before you woke up, took up arms and joined the Revolution? that long period of time were political coming and goings were small blips on the radar in the back of your mind?

that asleepness, or zombification is still 97% of the country.

People here need to get over liberty members playing the establishments game when it nets them great victories. Rand saved himself a spot at the debate table in 2016 with his endorsement. because the zombies that make up the GOP voting base don't give a shit about liberty, sound money, or freedom or anything else.

at all

period.

the only thing the majority of the GOP give any thought, any incremental amount of brain power to is the defeat of Barack Obama. and anyone who plans on putting that little (R) next to their name has to hum the exact same song. OR TAKE ALL OF THE BLAME FOR LOSING.

It pisses me off so much to see how often these people who consider themselves part of this movement call people asleep when it comes to our issues, but they themselves fall asleep when a few of our elected guys use different tactics to stay in the game.

If Kurt starts pushing legislation that strips me of my freedoms or any beliefs that I hold that keep me a part of this movement, then call me. But if he's just giving a blank endorsement so he can stay in the good graces of the folks watching Sean Hannity spew his garbage, then so be it. good for him.

So I take it if Obama wins you're going to blow your brains out?

Maybe I don't want an answer to that question.

what good is a so called liberty candidate that sells out only when it benefits his career?
