Kurt Bills is now the Republican nominee for Senate!

It is looking like Obama is going to clear up in MN. Is their anything on the ballot to really get the conservatives to show up at the polls? If there isn't, it might be extremely hard for Bills to keep it competitive.
Voter ID and gay marriage are referendums this year. That's not good because it mobilizes the left / Democrats. Because Obama's base is not as energetic this year he ran the risk of all of those people staying home. It wouldn't affect his race, but the downticket races could be affected.

Well the Independence Party has automatic ballot access so it's pretty sure that someone will run on their line. The Independence Party usually hurts Republicans in Minnesota.
This time, things might be different but that's all I can say for now ;)

Nobody ran against Amy last time.

Not entirely true. Robert Fitzgerald ran and got 3% of the vote. The high profile contest in 2006 for the Independence Party was the Governor's race and they ran Peter Hutchinson who got over 6% and nearly cost Tim Pawlenty the race. This time the US Senate will be the only statewide race.

Let's Defeat Klobuchar and send her to permanent retirement! (Also, we need to look for somebody to defeat Al Franken so he can go back to being a comedian)

No offense to a great liberty activist, but the Bradley subforum should probably be replaced with a Bills subforum now that his race is over.

I emailed Josh several weeks back about Bills getting a sub-forum, when it was apparent the MN delegates would nominate him and I never heard back. Sometimes I really have to wonder... you can't tell me this couldn't be a winner:

If he won, all hell would break loose on the left. We would have officially arrived as a movement outside the Paul tree.

Kurt Bills, who is running for US Senate in MN, is about to have an end of quarter push!

I have met Kurt several times and have heard him speak on multiple occasions. Kurt is an Austrian-economics high school teacher who was elected to the State House and is running against the big-government Democrat Amy Klobuchar.

Senator Klobuchar was a co-sponsor for the CISPA/PIPA legislation which would give the government the ability to shut down whatever website it wanted to on a whim.

If we can get Kurt Bills to beat her, and it is possible to do, then we can send a message that we are REJECTING those who want to censor the Internet!

Kurt needs your help, please donate NOW to the End of Quarter Push:

(Kurt Bills both endorsed Ron Paul and was endorsed BY Ron Paul)
