Post is now taken down @ 12:20pm. I wonder who that came from. Soros? Bitter neo-cons? Klobuchar's minions? Who knows...

I think they are trying to force the issue front and center and for him to address it on their terms instead of his. A subtle way of driving the narrative I guess? Despite the hack, it's conceivable the post could have been left as-is after the account was reclaimed.

Before the deletion, the reception in the comments was very favorable as you might guess. With the retraction, Bills will certainly have to answer the marriage amendment question now...
 
Marriage is a religeous sacrament anyway. If he truly is a conservative then the hacker was right... government shouldn't be involved in marriage. Government is not a religion.

I'm a Christian, and marriage is between a man and a woman. But what offends me a lot more than people coming up with their own definition of marriage is government's involvement in marriage. Marriage should be between me, my wife and God. Not, me, my wife and the State of Michigan. That's a million times more offensive to me.

republican that is against gay marriage... BUT also believes government shouldnt be used to promote or disregard gay marriage.

He's running against a progressive icon, that is an absolutely perfect stance to take. It should be his position anyway, but framing it that way is perfect. I'll put money on staffers freaking out that it'll upset conservatives before any hacking. Unless he does believe in a marriage amendment - in which case, adios!

What is his stance on aid to Israel? I've read in various places that he's now in favor of it. Is this true?

I still don't get why anyone still uses facebook

it reminds me of those old government tests with monkeys hitting buttons and looking at pretty pictures on a small screen and testing their attention span and abilities lol.

I know so many who sit on facebook for hours and I mean HOURS addicted shaking and can't stop telling and TAKING PICTURES of what they just ate, where they are, what they are doing etc.

too funny AND if you tell someone you don't use it they think you are NUTS

some companies will not even hire you without a facebook account, and people can't see where this is headed????
 
Hacker right, Kurt...well I guess we will find out what he really believes in.
 
Well it's out, and it sure ain't pretty. I'm puzzled and disappointed here folks... I really thought he'd fall on the sensible side of this issue.

Meanwhile, Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kurt Bills' campaign said its Facebook page was also hacked in the past 24 hours. The unauthorized posting said Bills opposes the marriage amendment. Bills' campaign manager Mike Osskopp said Bills actually supports it.
