Before the Nevada primary, [Presidential candidate] Dennis [Kucinich] was visited by representatives of Nancy Pelosi and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee — AIPAC. They told Dennis that if he would drop his campaigns to impeach Cheney and Bush, they would guarantee his re-election to the House of Representatives.

Kucinich threw them out of his office.

Dennis now faces the toughest election campaign of his entire tenure in congress, with huge amounts of money being spent to turn his constituents against him due to "his neglect of his district while he ran for president."

So yes, Virginia, it is exactly as you suspected. This man the mainstream media say is not relevant, poses such a threat to the powers that be that they are hellbent to destroy him, and remove that troublemaker from congress.

It's up to us, all who understand the crucial voice of Dennis Kucinich speaking up for justice and working to stop our country's fall into fascist barbarity, to come forward to help him continue the peoples' work. There's no better time than right now, so go to CONTRIBUTE TO DENNIS KUCINICH. Help Dennis now. Help him TODAY.

keep fighting the good fight Dennis. Even if he is a socialist, at least he stands for truth.

He is an example of how it takes more than one man to change the system. He Cleveland he threw lots of people out of his office, but the corporate interests steamrolled his honesty.

It amazes me that people can think in double-speak like this, sorry. Socialists only stand for the "truth" that supports their socialist agenda. He will take your guns and your money, don't you understand that? He is NOT for Freedom!

Statism is a valid philosophy, and as a whole, probably works better then a "free" individualist society. Basically, Statism (socialism, neoconservatism, liberalism etc.) is saying ends justify the means.

People are stupid, statists just believe that it's more efficient to treat everyone as stupid and try and prevent us from what we do to ourselves. Individualists (Libertarians, objectivists, most anarchists) believe inefficiency is acceptable for the whole, because it allows individuals the choice to be efficient as not (more importantly, they won't have to follow the laws that keep us from ourselves).

Oh, I got off-track. Anyways, since statism is a valid philosophy, so why can't they stand for truth? Surely there are honest statists as there are honest anarchists. And if you take the cynical route, I haven't read a libertarian magazine to date that doesn't skew facts in favor of libertarianism. Bias is everywhere.

I don't know much about dennis except that Dr. Paul respects him, he is one of the few presidential candidates that mentioned our constitution, he voted against the pat act and the war I think--anyway, he came to our aid in counting NH, and filed a scathing letter regarding the results.

so I consider him a friend and hate to see any friend drummed out by special interests.

Um, not to be contrary, but this is the most ridiculous analysis of "philosophy" I have ever seen. This sort of misinformed drivel is, IMHO, the reason we have two socialists competing for President. You must have gotten out of Government School fairly recently. Go read some REAL philosophy, then come back and we'll discuss.

You are either a free man, or you are a slave. There's no in-between. According to you, we are all slaves, living at the whim of the powers that be. Come get my guns and we'll see about that. Enjoy your chains.

Dennis would be a liability as president, but he's def an asset as 1 of 435. The opposition needs people who are principled like him.

Don't get me wrong, I hate socialism, but would you rather have an establishment shill in his place?

Regardless of his political views he is honest and consistent. There are too many carpetbaggers in Washington. Our battle starts with just keeping honest men and women in office.

The link at the bottom of that little snippet is a fuller, better version. So not only are AIPAC and Pelosi (no surprise) shilling for the NWO, but I think the administration had someone off Dennis' brother, to put it in Kucinich's head that he's got more than an election to worry about. You think he'll become pro-guns now?

If he doesn't respect my right to my own property or my right to defend myself, it doesn't matter what clothes he's wearing, he's still a wolf.

Congressmen like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are facing battles for their congressional seats from candidates financially backed by party big wigs and lobbyists. If this doesn't wake people up to realize that the majority of Washington from the "left" and "right" are working towards the same goal, I don't know what will. I don't agree with Kucinich as far as domestic policies but I do respect his attention paid to The Constitution. I would always vote for a candidate that believes similarly to Ron Paul over a Kucinich type. But, to suggest to the people of the Cleveland area to back a democrat shill endorsed by Nancy Pelosi, AIPAC, or anything of that ilk is absurd.

I, too, disagree with Kuchinich's politics. In a perfect world, I would oppose him. However, this is not a perfect world. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Kuchinich may be liberal to the point of borderline socialism, but he's not a traitor like Bush and Cheney.

I would be proud to call the man my friend.

Your ignorance astounds me, and your anger doesn't help the movement. One can not hate someone simply because of their conflicting philosophies. Ron is friends with Dennis, and Goldwater with Kennedy before them. It's good to be friends with all, even if you disagree with them.

Dennis is, what Reason would probably call, a libertarian socialist.
