Since Michigan isn't giving any delegates..

Kucinich should send out an email to his supporters to vote Ron Paul...

All the democratic candidates and the democrats there should push to vote for Dr. Paul if they want someone to end the war.

How could we find out where we could contact Dennis K. supporters??

How can we find out how how we would contact former bill richardson supporters or other democrats who beleive in ron pauls ideals - maybe find a forum or meetup group??

Kucinich stays off the Texas ballot -- Updated
U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel of Austin today ruled against Dennis Kucinich's bid to get on the Democratic presidential primary ballot in Texas. State party officials excluded Kucinich from the March 4 ballot because he had refused to sign a pledge to support all Democratic nominees. Yeakel upheld the party's decision.

Yeakel ruled that the Texas Democratic Party's right to set rules about who can associate with it outweighed Kucinich's free speech rights.

Yeakel said if Kucinich did not want to sign the Democratic Party's loyalty oath, he was free to run for president as a Republican, a third party candidate or as an independent.

Kucinich had signed the oath in his 2004 presidential bid but refused to do so this time. The oath would have required him to promise to "fully" support the party's presidential nominee if it was someone other than himself.

Kucinich attorney Donald McTigue of Columbus, Ohio, said the difference this time is the war in Iraq is much more prominent and that Kucinich did not want to back a nominee who would not promise to pull out of Iraq.

Democratic attorney Chad Dunn told Yeakel that the oath is not legally enforceable so anyone who signed it would be bound only by their own conscience to abide by it.

Democratic Chairman Boyd Richie said he would have been happy to put Kucinich on the ballot, but he said he did not have the power to ignore a rule established by the party at its convention.

The lawsuit was brought in Texas by Kucinich supporter Willie Nelson, who was not present at the hearing.

Kucinich also was not present. He was campaigning in Michigan, where he had been unable to get off the ballot after the Democratic National Committee stripped the state party of its delegates because it moved up its primary.

if Kucinich is such a sell off that he tells his supporters to vote for Obama, why not Paul = )

For what it's worth, I have a front row seat for Kucinich's speech at the University of Michigan on Monday. Unless I can find something else extremely important to do for that 45 min, I'm going to ask him if he would support Ron Paul given the Democratic Primary situation. I have no idea what will happen, but if he does even suggest an endorsement, I'll make sure his exact quote gets everywhere and I'll post it here first.

Ron Paul should show up in Ann Arbor on Monday and ask Kucinich for himself as much as anything.

An economic ravaged state like Michigan deserves to meet RP -
he's like a professor explaining things.
Yes Nevada is good, but this is a heck of an opportunity with all those dems needing their vote to count for something.

And what about Obama supporters in MI ?
Wouldn't they support the only one in the race to actually vote against the Iraqi War Resolution Act of 2002 ?
or are those Obama supporters phonies too ?

Why? Kucinich is the exact opposite of Ron Paul in all regards except the War in Iraq. Ron Paul is a Republican!!! Lets be real about the Dems, they are not really all that anit-Iraq war. The Dems want the Iraq war, they want to get into office and "Take Over" the war and do it the "right" way... make it a Dem War, so they can show once and for all that they are not weak on military matters. LOL, if you think any Dem (even Kucinich) is really going to pull troops you are mistaken.

Texas is an open primary. So party affiliation does not matter. You can vote for any candidate, democrat or repubilcan. However the deadline for changing your voter registrations, If you need to change your address, is Feb. 4th.

Kucinich should definetly endorse RP in all open primaries. He had to endorse obama in Iowa cause his supporters can't leave their caucus and go to the republican one.

You should also bring up the point that having Ron Paul as president would make it much fairer to so-called fringe candidates as he's very supportive of giving everybody a say in the election, and making it easier for third parties/people with low support to air their views.

Since Kucinich is still relatively young, in addition to agreeing with Ron Paul on a lot of constitutional matters he should also have a vested interest in seeing Ron Paul become president since that would make it easier for him to run for president next time he has the opportunity.

Despite the fact that the Dems have no delegates in Michigan, Kucinich is campaigning very heavily in the state (he will be there, attending rallies and speaking until the 15th). He probably wants to take advantage of the fact that two major Democrats are off the ballot and be able to grab some brief headline time by coming in second place in MI (I think it will still be hard to beat Hillary, even in an election that doesn't matter). He will be encouraging all his supporters to vote on the 15th, regardless of "electability," to show their support.

I would not expect Kucinich to concede by giving a Paul endorsement.

The article is referring to Austin, so I'd say it's a high order of probability that it is Willie Nelson. Besides, he has a history of endorsing far-out liberal politicians, like Kinky Friedman for Governor of Texas. Kinky was going to make Willie his Energy adviser, or something of that nature.

Kucinich would bring the troops home.
