Not sure why my original post was deleted, but anyway, I'm glad Kucinich lost. He was pro-life (or at least claimed to be) until he decided to run for president, then suddenly had a "change of heart" and became pro-choice when he wanted to win the democratic nomination. I have no respect for those kind of politicians, which is the same reason I don't respect Romney.

Losing both Ron and Kucinich is a serious loss for the anti-war voice in Congress.

Also important is Timothy Johnson of Illinois' race. He was also redistricted, and is going against another incumbent Republican. He has become more Ron Paul-like over the last few years, now being as reliable an ally as Walter Jones.

Doesn't sound like Kucinich thinks much of Kaptur:

I would like to be able to congratulate Congresswoman Kaptur but I do have to say that she ran a media campaign in the Cleveland media market that was utterly lacking in integrity with false statements half truths, [and] misrepresentations. I hope that is not the kind of representation she would provide to this community. And I don't think the people of Toledo have any idea of the kind of campaign that was run up in the Cleveland area.

Not saying I'm a fan, but you could do a lot worse than this woman. She opposed the bailout, distrusts the Fed, and opposes a North American Union. But like Kucinich, she made the Hall of Shame list by cosponsoring HR 1207 and then voting against the full Fed audit

Not to piss anyone off , but one Buckeye Dem is the same as another , they will bankrupt your country , snatch some weapons on the way , I say , after it all collapses and they starve , make tools from the bones they leave , they deserve that fate , some of the others they will starve do not . Feel sorry for Denny ? , just picture him flying around with the President while they decide how that bullshit health care vote has to be made .
