I get he's trying to reach out to leftist atheists but that hardly made any sense. The lies of government are inevitable and have nothing to do with religion or mythology. When Jefferson said: The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants; it becomes abundantly clear tyranny is cyclical and there's really no such thing as perpetual "liberty", a lion doesn't stop fighting for it's food, nor will we ever stop fighting for our beliefs and survival.
It's an issue of ethics because the Obamas, and Gingrichs, and Romneys, are all very logical people-- they do what they do to survive, make money, and have power, it's their ethics that should be called into question, politics makes sense to any rational person, follow the money trail.
Government can be used for good and evil, so can religion, and so can atheism just look at the Chinese, or Stalin. So I wish people would stop making false comparisons.

Kokesh is a leftist. He has never done anything to help win the GOP primary, only hurt. He is a pawn for the left.Why he ONLY appeals to the left when Ron runs in the GOP primary is quite baffling. Kokesh just needs to go away. I don't get the obsession with him and why people like him. His background is nothing.

We should be trying to appeal to everyone (except complete Statists). Why would you automatically cut off potential new libertarians? I bet you do that stupid dialectic where left = democrat and right = GOP? Boy, you have lots to learn still. Can you even define left and right coherently and objectively? They're nebulous meaningless terms. The only meaningful designation is a demarcation between liberty and tyranny. As far as the video, I can't comment since I haven't watched it yet.
Let's just say I'd rather the world have 1000X more Kevin Carson's than the Establishment tools we have around us today (from Cheney / Bush / Santorum to Obama / Clinton / etc.). On that note: I'd rather have 1000X Walter Block's than Carson's...so shoot for Rothbard/Block/Bastiat and if you fall short might as well land in the Carson area.

Kokesh equating libertarianism and this movement to atheism is ignorant and dangerous. If we want to put a dagger in the heart of everything Ron Paul has done, this is a good way to do it.

Atheism defies logic because it presupposes an eternal non-created Universe. How can one even begin to use reason and logic to assert such a position? Neither ontologically, or deontogically, or pretty much any standard of logic can you assert that position. Everything we know of has ever been has a beginning and an end and a creator. How do you explain the Natural Laws? I can explain it pretty well using the Clockwork theory as well as the Computer Programmer theory. What have you got?

I don't even owe you a response because you are already putting words in my mouth with your diatribe, stating that I think Left=Dems and Right=Republicans. Kokesh turns off more people than turns on. Also, what party is Ron Paul running for their nomination? He isn't running in a general election (at least not yet). So, it is all about framing. Kokesh doesn't know how to frame. Plus, he's an annoyance.
But, of course you have already told me what I think, so what is the point in defining anything for you.
I think you misunderstand atheism. We're usually agnostic about the deistic god (can't be proven either way) but don't hold the belief that it exists (which is why we're not theists.)
We don't presuppose that the universe is anything.
Like gravity? No idea.

I don't care about parties because they're the same tyrannous parasites. The only reason Ron is a Republican is because you have to be designated in one of the duopoly's parties to even have a chance at winning an election due to their rigged election laws they setup. As far as Adam's messaging. I think he does a fine job most of the time. Framing? To me it's all about the truth. Speak the truth.
I made an educated inference based on your post. I'm pretty sure I hit the nail pretty close.

You didn't actually. And Kokesh doesn't tell the truth. He gives his biased, ill informed opinions. That doesn't mean truth. The fact you blindly believe the man, shows that your "educated inferences" are in all likelihood fragile at best. You didn't hit the nail on the head because you are dead wrong. I see you are quite the jerk though, so I'm not going to bother with you anymore.
Seems like other members are a lot more respectful and nice around here. You definitely aren't one.

Of that I have no idea. Usually if I really think about it, it can get to be a circular logic, but to me and everything we know has a creation and end you come to an infinite loop. As to exact certainty of that I am pretty sure we'll never know, and I am of the position I don't think our brain has the capacity of ever understanding truly, but we can at least make reasoned and logical statements based on how our observations and how our brain works.
If that's convoluted...well so be it
