Heard about this book over the radio this morning and I was very interested in this topic from the start of the conversation. The book basically explains the war atrocities committed by some of our troops including the famed my lai masscre and the cover-up by the higher ups. It also explains the military tactics used and how it led to these atrocities.

Seems very interesting and I will be reading it.

I also want to know if any vietnam vets on this board actually agree with the authors premise.

My dad said something to the effect of : Rehashing this shit again, when listening to the same program.

Isn't it true that the Viet Cong didn't wear military uniforms, so that you never knew who was going to try to blow you up?

Probably. Seems logical. What would you if your home was invaded? Paint a target on yourself or actually try to be effective?
