Piping in to again encourage everyone to vote for Peter Schiff. He's stands right with Ron Paul on the gold standard and is a very articulate speaker.

Edit: Uggh the poll is closed and Schiff isn't in the top 5. We need a fiat declaration (no pun intended) to get him in guys, he has to be a part of this!

What about Chris Peden? According to his website, he is more conservative than Ron Paul is. lol.

But seriously, Why not just invite all these people, then see who shows up?

I would like to see Pat Buchanan, Cafferty, and Glenn Beck (if for no other reason than he has picked up on Rons theme of the country being bankrupt). Hell, invite Ann Coulter, she said she almost agree's with us... invite everyone in the conservative movement, most of them wont show up anyway. We should be happy that any of them come to hear our side of the story, after all, after we take over, we'll need them as allies;)

what happened? i can't vote - I guess it's closed already?

I vote Jim Cramer - he's really popular with a LOT of people, both wall street-types and your average Joe. I think he'd be a good speaker, but also a smart choice

that's if he'd do it

I think people chose Lew just because they recognize his name. Considering John Stossel has been rumored to be a possible running mate for Ron Paul, I think he should be #1.

Boooo

Why are Michael Sheuer, Peter Schiff, David Walker, and Robert Pope not ranked higher?

Most complicated issues:
What motivates suicide terrorism ( Robert Pape)
Economic state of America ( David Walker )
Why Paul's economic plan is best ( Peter Schiff )
Blow Back/ Motivation of terrorism ( Michael Sheurer )

One perceived problem of our campaign is the lack of credibility. All of the above men would help in this area. Having the a guy that made a web page or some news anchor hardly offer the same. But yeah invite them, but not for the main speakers... and certainly not instead of these other names.

Agree!!!

I'm sure you realize this thoughtbombing, but with the exception of like 3 people on the list, the votes are pretty much a statistical wash. That is, a difference of 10 or 15 votes on a single forum shouldn't exclude somone. The poll ends up being a decent judge of popularity, but that's about it.

Why the hell is Naomi Wolf on the list? Can someone please expalin that to me?

Thanks!

For goodness sake please remove this idiot communist woman's name from the speaker's list - Wolf has officially endorsed Obama!

That is why Barack Obama has my vote. Of all the leading candidates, he is the only one on these issues who has consistently acted like a true American.
