She is running in the August 7 primary.

When Kerry rolled up to the booth yesterday he was carrying multiple copies of this RTL endorsement. I didn't hone in on it since I had to get back to the passersby but he had it and was proud of it. He's likely taking the same position as Ron does, repeal RvW and let the states deal with it. Cassis has nothing else to stand out with so it's not surprising that she is staking her claim by trying to muddy the waters on this issue. This is the same lady that when asked about the Frank-Dodd bill came off looking like she had no idea what it is or what it does.

I hope you are right on the MI RTL endorsement. It would really help his pro life credentials since they are trying to say he is pro choice. I wish they would send out a press release to clarify.

Kerry met with Amash yesterday, not sure what came of it. I was thinking an endorsement would be in the making but nothing official yet I'm afraid.

Very cool. A Rand and Ron endorsement would be sweet! BTW, I got in contact with the campaign about the MI RTL endorsement. They said they have the official letter. Either they endorsed both or she is lying. This should be a good boost against their whisper campaign. I would be mentioning it everywhere I speak and it would be on every piece of literature I printed.
 
I'm not holding my breath on Ron or Rand endorsing, but Jack Hunter did say something this past week in his own facebook about him personally endorsing Bentivolio and that he was going to write up something on him, wouldn't that bring attention of this race to Ron and Rand? I don't know, but if there is a race to endorse on of our candidates, then this race is it. I hope Ron sends out an email or something at the minimum for Bentivolio shortly, for fundraising. Enough money upfront, and this race is ours. August 7th really isn't that far off, makes me wonder if Casis is really gunning for this or not...

That would be cool for Hunter to endorse and give him some attention. I kind of wonder about Casis and the establishment motivation for this too. We will see if she really puts in her money or not. The end result is going to be motivating the liberty movement and tea party.
 
The only reason I can see the Pauls not getting in on this is that they may think it's already in the bag. Cassis threatened to put big money into this but obviously she hasn't. She knows the kind of enthusiasm that's behind Kerry's campaign. My guess is, if she were to go all in on this the Pauls would step up. Heck, Palin could even get down with us on this since it's such a slam dunk.
 
It does seem like she isn't into this fully. I am wondering if she and the establishment are reevaluating how much money they want to throw down the rat hole now that Kerry is showing viability. Maybe this whole thing was a farce to rally support for Kerry quickly. If so, it looks like they are succeeding.

Also, Kerry needs to start thinking about the General, raising money, and his name ID. He needs to think about how to modulate his message for the moderate GOP and Independents. Remember, anything he says will be used against him (even out of context) in the general by the Democrats. His district isn't overwhelmingly red.
