I'm wading my way through the paperwork to run as a NPA candidate. Liberty Candidate and Liberty Takeover surveys are on my short to-do list.

The redistricted 3rd is one of the new Congressional Districts. It combines parts of the old 2nd and 6th districts, covers the area from the St John's River to the Gulf of Mexico, and the Georgia Stateline to Ocala. Rep Cliff Stearns (FL-6) has announced he will move to run in this district.

I have been a libertarian since 1999 when I discovered Harry Browne's campaign for POTUS as a Libertarian Party candidate. It was around that same time I discovered Dr. Paul and started reading his columns in various locations. My own political philosophy is much closer to Harry Browne's and you can read archives of his writing at lewrockwell.

Next week is my 40th birthday. I was born in Pensacola, FL, and grew up in the rural Florida Panhandle. After graduating from Paxton High School in Paxton, FL, I enlisted in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Since retiring from the Navy in 2010 I have been working on a bachelors degree in Health Sciences with a focus in Environmental Science.

I am married (eight years next month) with one son, and one step-son.

Looking for liberty minded people in NE Florida, especially 3rd Con Dist

I am looking for libertarians, Ron Paul supporters, constitutionalists, and other liberty supporters in the following counties:

Alachua, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, NW Marion, Suwannee, Union

The incumbent is Cliff Stearns (R) who is another establishment shill. Out of the three Republicans running against him in the primary two are long time politicians. The one Democrat is a self described progressive. With redistricting the incumbent has never run in much of the district. If I can raise the money I will be the only liberty candidate on the ballot.

My first suggestion would be to start making videos describing your positions on the most important issues. It will help people visualize you as a candidate and a statesman. Make sure to include a link to your donation page (or facebook page) as the first thing in the description of those videos when you put them on YouTube. You can also make videos responding to messages from Cliff Stearns and it could help you rank for his name to get local people seeing your face. Overall, the main objective of these videos is to show us, potential investors into your campaign, why we should give you our hard earned money and if you're a solid investment. I'm very interested to see where this goes and will keep an eye on your progress. Good luck Mr. Willey!
