I just thought of her today. I hope she runs. She would bring needed diversity, being a woman and Lt. Colonel in the military.

You're always so wrong it amazes me that you're not yet embarrassed to post.

Despite the Democrats winning the governorship (thanks to a Libertarian who was large financed by wealthy Democrats), Republicans keep their solid lock on the Virginia House of Delegates, winning just more than 2/3rds of the seats. Republicans also just barely kept the Attorney General post, though they lost the governorship and the Lieutenant Governor offices.

I understand we're running for Governor of Virginia, but nevertheless, I find it pretty remarkable that Terry McAuliffe said he didn't have a position on whether the U.S. should take military action against Syria. How is that even possible? I've yet to meet one person who doesn't have strong feelings about this issue.

As for me, I don't believe the United States should be intervening in Syria, period. After a decade of war and many Virginia families losing loved ones in Iraq and Afghanistan, I am very concerned about putting more of our servicemen and women at risk for an effort that would not--in my view--address the national security interests of America.

We need to learn from our experience of the last decade, preserve our military families, and focus our limited and dwindling resources on building a strong economy here at home.

If it is state senate, I think it would be a great idea. He got a lot of funding and should be able to raise for than any state senate opponents.

Cuccinelli should stay low, he will not win the senate seat in Virginia, not now at least. His name is poisoned, just like Joe Miller. Both were fine candidates but their negatives are so high we'd be better off running someone else even without the name recognition.

I just can't believe how quickly Virginia, once a bastion of political greatness, has succumbed to scum like McAuliffe, Obama etc. As a Southerner it's quite troubling.

Virginia has always been a state more aligned with the good old boys club than anything grassroots. For both parties.

Why do people post things like this? Yes, VA used to be a Democratic state. It no longer is a Democratic state. It's now a swing state. But if you mean blue state as only in Presidential elections and not governor or US Senate, yeah, it still tends to lean Democratic in Presidential elections. But you can look at the VA House of Delegates, it's like 2/3s Republican.

I'm also pretty sure the vast majority of our attention wasn't on Karen in 2012 and won't be again, if she runs another losing campaign.
