Guthrie and Rand I believe are a little more than cordial. I think Rand's Taxpayer group helped him get elected.

Guthrie is friends with Rand and has said some nice things about him. That said, according to the Freedom Index, Guthrie has the worst voting record out of Republican Reps in KY. Not only does he vote for a lot of the neocon stuff, but even for Obama's national youth service etc...
