Keith Strahan, a Republican business attorney, has announced his candidacy for Texas State Representative for House District 18.
Strahan said in a statement, “After years of working with grassroots activists in Southeast Texas, I am excited to announce that I am running for State Representative for the people of Liberty, San Jacinto, and Walker counties.
“Texas is the greatest State in the Union. But it is in peril. Too often, the politicians in Austin have expanded government and accumulated debt, taking their cues from Washington instead of the people of this great State. This must change.
Strahan believes the people who live in District 18 deserve someone in Austin who will say ‘no’ to uncontrolled debt and special interests.
“I am committed to fighting for life, liberty, and property rights of all Texans, not only a well-connected few. We need your help. This is a grassroots campaign that will be funded by citizens like you. Together we can keep Texas free!” he said.
Strahan is a native of Liberty, Texas, and attended Liberty High School. He practices corporate and business law throughout Southeast Texas. For more information please visit www.keithstrahan.com.

Yea, look at who this guy follows on Twitter. He is a no-brainer liberty candidate.

Cool! This is Otto's old seat, he's not running for reelection. Otto was one of the biggest establishment players. It would be awesome to get a liberty candidate in there. Terry Holcomb ran for this seat last cycle, and Dwayne Stovall the one before. Not sure what Terry's plans are.
