I think Keith may be a good target for some Ron Paul appearance requests.

I am intrigued by what I have been hearing about Ron Paul.
Even more interesting is the total lack of mainstream media coverage while the internet is ablaze.
Being a great journalist takes more than reciting Murrow, following his unwavering principles and quest for the truth is what's required.
I know you will do the right thing."

He signs off every show with "Good night and good luck", a tribute to Edward R Murrow. So that's the angle I chose to play, Murrow would have Ron on for sure.

I would really like to see Dr. Paul get an honest, fair, but challenging in-depth network TV interview, but I fear that most of the talking heads such as Olberman, Chris Matthews, etc. talk a good game and quote Murrow, but don't share the same ideals and if they do get Dr. Paul on TV, the interviews tend to be condescending at best.

Neil Cavuto's interview with Dr. Paul this afternoon was condescending to say the very least and I would expect nothing better on Hannity and Colmes after the debate.

Lawrence Kudlow on CNBC seems like he would be very receptive to an in-depth interview with Dr. Paul and on the other news networks, he probably has the best chance at a fair interview with Tucker Carlson or Joe Scarborough. Of course, the MSNBC news bosses will most definitely override them even if the hosts are open to the idea of interviewing Dr. Paul fairly.

O has Murrow delusions. I went to the same journalism program at about the same time. It was an article of faith that an aggressive, intrusive fourth estate was the bulwark of democracy. Also, he has that same hipster liberal-libertarianism as John Stewart -- he might even become a convert.

The practical problem is that the sets of people who watch Olberman/Stewart and people who decide a Republican primary are disjoint. For Paul to have any practical chance of influencing the policy of the eventual nominee, he has to get into the Echo Chamber, and that's going to be difficult.

He doesn't necessarily have to get into the echo chamber if enough people get excited about him to go Republican and vote him through the primaries. It's going to take making activists out of most of his followers, but isn't that what our psychology is like anyway?

I'm most likely going to vote in the Republican primary, even though I normally wouldn't even think of it. I'd like to think a lot of other people will do the same. I hope to deliver a surprise to the core far-right Republicans who expect to be able to control the primary.
