NBC News is reporting Kasich will announce he’s suspending his campaign.
The Kasich campaign told reporters: “Today’s press gaggle in Dulles has been cancelled. Gov. Kasich will deliver a statement in Columbus at 5:00PM EDT today – location TBD.”
For its part, the Kasich campaign said in a Tuesday evening statement that the Indiana results "are not going to alter" the candidate's plan.
"Our strategy has been and continues to be one that involves winning the nomination at an open convention," the Kasich campaign said.
This doesn't make sense. I'd figure he'd at least try in the next round of primaries before giving up.
It's gonna take a hell of a money bomb to invent a time machine go back two years and unsay all the things he said to disenfranchise those independent voters.I wish we could money bomb Rand and get him to unsuspend. So many independent voters are disenfranchised, if I learned anything from 2000, this isn't over until its over.
