breaking. So sad, he just made a new campaign commercial, but couldn't pay for it...

Good news is maybe some of the knuckleheads will at least look at McAfee....

He's had kind of a rough morning.

He'll make the announcement as soon as he finds a place where they allow them to set up the cameras.

Where's the link, guys?
I just saw that one of his staffers says he plans to suspend, but nothing official.

Report: John Kasich Suspends Campaign
http://dailycaller.com/2016/05/04/kasich-suspends-campaign-statement-ohio/
NBC News is reporting Kasich will announce he’s suspending his campaign.

The Kasich campaign told reporters: “Today’s press gaggle in Dulles has been cancelled. Gov. Kasich will deliver a statement in Columbus at 5:00PM EDT today – location TBD.”

There was no way to deny Trump 1237 now, it was pointless to continue.

NBC news is reporting that "multiple sources" have confirmed Kasich is suspending.
Who are those sources?
Nobody seems to know.
In the same article, NBC reported:

For its part, the Kasich campaign said in a Tuesday evening statement that the Indiana results "are not going to alter" the candidate's plan.

"Our strategy has been and continues to be one that involves winning the nomination at an open convention," the Kasich campaign said.

That's from LAST NIGHT.

Sources: John Kasich to drop out
CNN - John Kasich is dropping out of the Republican presidential race, two sources familiar with the plan confirmed to CNN.

The Ohio governor was a no-show Wednesday morning at a press conference in Virginia, skipping a scheduled flight from Columbus.
Kasich remained on the ground and his campaign said he’ll make an announcement at 5 p.m. in Columbus.

Austin Petersen has been running online ads targeting Cruz supporters

I wish we could money bomb Rand and get him to unsuspend. So many independent voters are disenfranchised, if I learned anything from 2000, this isn't over until its over.

This doesn't make sense. I'd figure he'd at least try in the next round of primaries before giving up.

. . . that was part of the deal with Cruz for a couple states comin' up now - he got jipped for his try going solo

It's gonna take a hell of a money bomb to invent a time machine go back two years and unsay all the things he said to disenfranchise those independent voters.

I'm thinking his campaign operations were looking a lot like Santorum's in Iowa:

The whole thing with Cruz in Indiana was to get cover and hope he could get enough of a bump in campaign resources from a Trump loss to campaign in OR.

Or the RNC called and told him his local fixers in Cleveland were out of a job.
